This is a full guide of all the weapons available in Zombie Army 4 Dead War such as the Assault rifles, shotguns, Sniper Rifles and pistols among others. You can upgrade each of the weapons and enjoy better performance throughout the gameplay. Here is the list of all weapons and their unlocks.

How To Unlock Weapons And Upgrade Them In Zombie Army 4 Dead War

The following is what you need to know about unlocking all the different weapons in Zombie Army 4 Dead War and upgrading them.

Rifles

There are three types of rifle weapons available in Zombie Army 4 Dead War:

Gewehr 43

This is a semi-automatic with a large magazine and the reload is quite swift. You have an ease of control with this weapon and your fire power is increased. The downside is that it does not inflict as much damage to your enemies as needed. The upgrades for it are:

Electrified Barrel

Level 1 Incendiary Mod: The rifle’s barrel heats up after a time. When it starts glowing the coming round will be the incendiary shot.

Level 2 Incendiary Mod: This unlocks at Rank 10. It increases the incendiary blast.     

Level 3 Recoil Grip: This unlocks at Rank 20. It reduces recoil.

Level 3 Incendiary Mod: This unlocks at Rank 20. It highly increases the damage of the incendiary blast.

Magazine

Level 1 Extended Mag: This increases the number of the magazine’s rounds up to 15.

Level 2 Extended Mag: This unlocks at Rank 10. The number of rounds goes up to 20.

Level 3 Extended Mag: It unlocks at Rank 20. The magazine rounds are increased up to 30.  

Level 3 Full Auto: This upgrade also unlocks at Rank 20. You gain a fully automatic fire with this.

Scope

Level 1 Scope: This increases the max zoom to x4.  

Level 2 Scope: This unlocks at Rank 10. The max zoom reaches up to x8.

Level 3 Vampir Scope: This unlocks at Rank 20. Each critical damage will be healing to you.  

Level 3 Electric Bayonet: This unlocks at Rank 20. When this is charged, the melee coming next will inflict electric damage.

Zombie Army 4 Dead War Weapons

M1 Garand

This is another semi-automatic that along with having a high rate of fire also deals serious damage. However, the cons to this weapon are that it is tough to control the reload speed is a bit on the slow side.

Flame Barrel

Level 1 Incendiary Mod: The barrel heats up while firing. The glowing of the barrel indicates that the next burst will be an incendiary one.

Level 2 Incendiary Mod: It unlocks at Rank 10. The incendiary blast is increased.

Level 3 Recoil Grip: This is unlocked at Rank 20 and reduces recoil.

Level 3 Incendiary Mod: This also unlocks at Rank 20 and the incendiary shot is greatly increased by it.

Magazine

Level 1 Clip Mod: The clip extends up to 10 rounds.

Level 2 Clip Mod: This unlocks at Rank 10. The clip extends up to 12 rounds.

Level 3 Clip Mod: This unlocks at Rank 20. The clip extends to 16 rounds.

Level 3 Reload Anytime: This unlock at Rank 20. You are now able to reload the clip before it is emptied.

Scope

Level 1 Scope: Max zoom is increased up to x6.

Level 2 Scope: Is unlocked at Rank 10. Max zoom increases up to x10.

Level 3 Vampir Scope: Is unlocked at Rank 20. Each critical damage will heal the player.

Level 3 Flame Bayonet: Is unlocked at Rank 20. When it is charged, enemies will be burned in the next melee.

Mosin-Nagant M91/30

This weapon is extremely damaging to zombies and is capable of blasting them into pieces with its utterly high range of firepower.

Explosive Rounds

Level 1 Explosive Mod: Charged over time. When it is ready the next issued round will be an explosive one.  

Level 2 Explosive Mod: This unlocks at Rank 10. The blast of the radius is slightly increased by it.

Level 3 Explosive Mod:  This is unlocked at Rank 20. The radius of the blast is increased greatly.

Level 3 Damage Mod: Also unlocks at Rank 20. The damage amount is increased even more.

Magazine

Level 1 Bolt Mod: The clip extends up to 10 rounds.

Level 2 Bolt Mod: It’s unlocked at Rank 10. The clip extends up to 12 rounds.

Level 3 Bolt Mod: It is unlocked at Rank 20. The clip extends to 16 rounds.

Level 3 Bolt Mod: Also unlocks at Rank 20. The player is able to reload before the clip goes empty.  

Scope

Level 1 Scope: Max zoom increases up to x8

Level 2 Scope: It is unlocked at Rank 10. Max zoom increases to x12

Level 3 Vampire Scope: Unlocked at Rank 20. Each critical damage will be healing to you.  

Level 3 Heavy Bayonet: Also unlocks at Rank 20. Melee damage is increased and along with the chance of knocking enemies down.

Zombie Army 4 Dead War Weapons

Secondary Weapons

There are several weapons in this list ranging from rifles to shotguns

M30 Drilling

This is a special shotgun that is equipped with three 12 gauge barrels in order to cause maximum amount of damage to the hordes of zombies you have to face.

Flame Barrel

Level 1 Incendiary Mod: The barrel heats up after a while. When it glows the round issuing next will be an incendiary shot.  

Level 2 Incendiary Mod: It is unlocked at Rank 10. You get an increased incendiary round.

Level 3 Sawn-Off: It is unlocked at Rank 20. This reduces the length of the barrel which causes less recoil, a quicker reload and an increased spread

Level 3 Incendiary Mod: Also unlocked at Rank 20. The incendiary blast is highly increased.

Range

Level 1 Gun Sight: The shot range is increased slightly.

Level 2 Gun Sight: It is unlocked at Rank 10. The shot range is increased moderately

Level 3 Trigger Mod:  Is unlocked at Rank 20. A single pull of the trigger fires all three shots.

Level 3 Flame Bayonet:  Also unlocks at Rank 20. When this is charged, the coming melee will burn the enemies

Damage

Level 1 Damage Mod: pellets per shell are slightly increased  

Level 2 Damage Mod: Is unlocked at Rank 10. Pellets per shell are moderately increased.

Level 3 Damage Mod: It is unlocked at Rank 20. The pellets per shell are increased greatly.

Level 3 Slug Damage: Also unlocked at Rank 20. The pellets are swapped with one slug of extreme power. The dismemberment, range and accuracy are all boosted highly by this.

MP44

This is a short cartridge weapon but the control is good along with speed of reloading and the rate of fire.

Explosive Rounds

Level 1 Explosive Mod: Charged over time. When it is ready the next issued round will be an explosive one.

Level 2 Explosive Mod: It unlocks at Rank 10. The blast radius is increased slightly.

 Level 3 Explosive Mod: This is unlocked at Rank 20. The radius of the blast is increased greatly.

Level 3 Semi-Auto Mod: Also unlocks at Rank 20. It gives the player semi-automatic fire and the chances of causing critical damage are higher.   

Accuracy

Level 1 Grip: The accuracy and reduction in recoil are increased slightly.

Level 2 Grip: Unlocked at Rank 10. The accuracy and reduction in recoil are moderately slightly.  

Level 3 Vampir Scope: This unlocks at Rank 20. Each critical damage will be healing to you.  

Level 3 Scope: Also unlocks at Rank 20. It will enable you to attach a scope.

Damage

Level 1 Damage Mod: The damage will be increased slightly.  

Level 2 Damage Mod: Unlocked at Rank 10. The damage will be increased moderately.  

Level 3 Extended Mag: Unlocked at Rank 20. Your magazine will now have 45 bullets

Level 3 Heavy Bayonet: The opportunity of knocking down the enemies and melee damage is heightened now. Also unlocked at Rank 20.

Thompson

This famous Tommy Gun has high firepower and low-level recoil.

Divine Shot Barrel

Level 1 Divine Mod: Charged over time. When it is ready the next issued round will cause double damage.

 Level 2 Divine Mod: Unlocked at Rank 10. The number of divine rounds when charged will increase moderately.

Level 3 Divine Mod: Unlocked at Rank 20. The number of divine rounds when charged will increase moderately.

Level 3 Rapid Firebolt: Also unlocked at Rank 20. The modified bolt will increase the firepower greatly.

Magazine

Level 1 Extended Mag: Your magazine now contains 30 bullets. Unlocked at Rank 10

Level 2 Extended Mag: Your magazine now contains 40 bullets. Unlocked at Rank 20  

Level 3 Drum Magazine: Your rounds are increased up to 60. Unlocked at Rank 20

Level 3 Serrated Bayonet: The opportunity of dismemberment and melee damage is increased  

Damage

Level 1 Damage Mod: The damage will be increased slightly.   

Level 2 Damage Mod: Unlocked at Rank 10. The damage will be increased moderately.    

Level 3 Grip: Unlocked at Rank 20. Accuracy is moderately increased along with reduced recoil.  

Level 3 Ammo Attachment Mod: Also unlocked at Rank 20. The durability of ammo attachments is increased

Trench Gun

This is a shotgun with a slow rate of fire but the speedy reload compensates for it. It deals high damage and is excellent when needing to clear huge numbers of zombies.

Electrified Barrel

Level 1 Electric Mod: Charged over time. When it is ready the next issued round will cause electrical damage.    

Level 2 Electric Mod: The damage will be increased. Unlocked at Rank 10.  

Level 3 Electric Mod: Unlocked at Rank 20. Zombies will be hit with electrical arcs

Level 3 Speed Grip: Also unlocked at Rank 20. The grip is improved which increases the rate of fire.

Magazine

Level 1 Cartridge Rail: The player is able to chamber six shells.  

Level 2 Cartridge Rail: Unlocked at Rank 10. The player is able to chamber seven shells.  

Level 3 Cartridge Rail: Unlocked at Rank 20. The player is able to chamber eight shells.  

Level 3 Electric Bayonet: When it is charged the next melee will be able to deal electrical damage. Also unlocked at Rank 20.

Damage

Level 1 Damage Mod: The damage amount is increased slightly.

Level 2 Damage Mod: Unlocked at Rank 10. The damage amount is increased moderately.

Level 3 Damage Mod: Unlocked at Rank 20. The damage amount is increased greatly.

Level 3 Slug Damage: Also unlocked at Rank 20. The pellets are swapped with one slug of extreme power. The dismemberment, range and accuracy are all boosted highly by this.

C96 Pistol

This firearm contains a high capacity magazine which is very helpful in clearing out the hordes of zombies.

Level 2 Incendiary Mod: Unlocked at Rank 10. Increases incendiary blast.

Magazine

Level 1 Extended Mag: This increases the number of the magazine’s rounds up to 15.      

Level 2 Extended Mag: Unlocked at Rank 10. This increases the number of the magazine’s rounds up to 20.

Level 3 Drum Magazine: Unlocked at Rank 20. This increases the number of the magazine’s rounds up to 30.

Level 3 Flame Bayonet: When its charged, the next melee will be capable of burning the enemy hordes. Also unlocks at Rank 20.

Damage

Level 1 Damage Mod: Pellets per shell are slightly increased.

Level 2 Damage Mod: Unlocked at Rank 10. Pellets per shell are moderately increased.

Level 3 Damage Mod: Unlocked at Rank 20. Pellets per shell are greatly increased.

Level 3 Recoil Grip: Reduces recoil. Unlocked at Rank 20.

M1911

This weapon has high firepower and a large magazine making it a good defense against the zombies.

Divine Shot Barrel

Level 1 Divine Mod: Charged over time. When it is ready the next issued round will cause double damage.     

Level 2 Divine Mod: Unlocked at Rank 10. The number of divine rounds when charged will increase moderately.  

Level 3 Divine Mod: Unlocked at Rank 20. The number of divine rounds when charged will increase moderately.  

Level 3 Scope: you will be able to attach a scope. Unlocked at Rank 20

Magazine

Level 1 Extended Mag: Your magazine now contains 8 bullets.

Level 2 Extended Mag: Your magazine now contains 9 bullets. Unlocked at Rank 10  

Level 3 Extended Mag: Your magazine now contains 12 bullets. Unlocked at Rank 20

Level 3 Barrel Mod: Unlocked at Rank 20. The shot range is increased greatly.  

Damage

Level 1 Damage Mod: The damage amount is increased slightly  

Level 2 Damage Mod: The damage amount is increased moderately. Unlocked at Rank 10

Level 3 Grip: Recoil is reduced and accuracy is increased moderately. Unlocked at Rank 20.

Level 3 Serrated Bayonet: Melee Damage is increased along with chances of dismemberment. Also unlocked at Rank 20.

Webley MKVI

Explosive Rounds

Level 1 Explosive Mod: Charged over time. When it is ready the next issued round will be explosive.      

Level 2 Explosive Mod: The blast radius is increased slightly. Unlocked at Rank 10.

Level 3 Explosive Mod: The blast radius is increased greatly. Unlocked at Rank 20.

Level 3 Damage Mod: Also unlocked at Rank 20. Damage is increased greatly.

Accuracy

Level 1 Sight Mod: slight increase in accuracy.

Level 2 Sight Mod: Unlocked at Rank 10. A moderate increase in accuracy.

Level 3 Sight Mod: Unlocked at Rank 20. A great increase in accuracy.

Level 3 Speed Loader:  Also unlocked at Rank 20. Reload timing is reduced greatly.

Recoil

Level 1 Grip: Accuracy of shot is increased and the recoil is reduced slightly.

Level 2 Grip: Accuracy of shot is increased and the recoil is reduced moderately. Unlocks at Rank 10.

Level 3 Grip: Accuracy of shot is increased and the recoil is reduced slightly. Unlocks at Rank 20.

Level 3 Heavy Bayonet: Unlocked at Rank 20. Melee damage is increased along with the chance of knocking enemies down.
