Zombie Army 4: Dead War Tips And Tricks
The following are tips and tricks that you should know about if you are starting Zombie Army 4: Dead War.
Health and Stamina
The most crucial part to any game. The blue bar located at the bottom right of your screen is your stamina, while below it the red bar is your Health. Always, Always keep an eye on your health and stamina. This is crucial to survive in the game.
Taking damage will reduce your health which you can refill using Medkits. Stamina meanwhile will drain whenever you perform some sort of action, which may include running, lunging, melee attacks and weapon assists. This bar will refill over time.
Upgrade Kits
While the game offers many collectibles to collect, the most important ones that you should focus on are the upgrade kits. These are found in every chapter of the game and they help you in upgrading your weapons. Upgrading weapons is crucial to surviving in Zombie Army. Once you collect these you can upgrade your weapons by accessing a Workbench.
Priority Upgrades
Even though you can upgrade whichever way you like, We would recommend getting the upgrades that allow your weapons to deal with elementary damage. Either Incendiary, Electrical or Divine. These types of damage spread out to more enemies at a time making it easier to thin down the hordes of zombies that come your way and they add that extra firepower you need.
Second Chance Perk
A perk that is unlocked from the very start of the game. You must have this equipped at all times. This perk as the name suggests will give you another chance to live should you die. Once your health depletes, you will be downed, you will need to kill a zombie using your pistol to get back into the game with a shred of health and try to complete the level. This perk replenishes after you’ve visited a safe house or a checkpoint.
Rifle Empty Lung
Although this weapon is ideal for killing a zombie and bosses, it’s not ideal when a horde is after you. For which switching to a secondary weapon is wiser. It takes 10 seconds to kill a zombie with it, which is not efficient.
Heroic Events
You will come across survivors as you explore the chapters of the game. Always try to save these survivors because they offer bonus rewards that can’t be received any other way. If you are interested in learning more then you can check out our heroic actions guide.
Save your Medkits
You are able to carry a very limited amount of Medkits and they are not easily found in the outside world aside from the checkpoints and safe houses. Always keep them on reserve and use them only when you really need to.
Explore Complete Maps
There are many paths that you can take in the world that lead to secret rooms or other locations. Try exploring these unless their is a horde after you. You may find some interesting items.
Team Player
Although the game can be completed entirely on solo. It is however at its core a Co-Op focused Title. Should you team up with other players you should be a good team player and help out your fellow teammates.
Say, if you already have a good weapon you should let your teammates have some of the good attachments. Supplies such as ammo and grenades are limited so be sure to share them equally among the team. Should one team member go down, try to help them by reviving them.
Melee Occasionally
Apart from all your arsenal of weapons you should occasionally use your melee to dispose of zombies, this ensures your survival for a longer period of time. Melee takedowns are the most powerful attacks you can land, however, they require 10 combo kills to be charged.
If you are able to land them they reward you with health and ammo. If you are at full health when executing them you will gain even more health.
