Zelda TotK Time Armor Set Guide: How To Get

The Time armor set in The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom pays tribute to Link’s outfit in Zelda: Ocarina of Time and does not have any unique ability. As you progress through the game, you will likely get hints about the armor set. In this Zelda TotK guide, we cover how you can get the Ocarina of Time armor.

How To Get The Ocarina Of Time Armor Set In Zelda TotK

You can easily get the armor set by using the Ocarina amiibo but if you do not have it then there is another way too. Just like all the other armor sets in Zelda TotK the Time armor has three pieces:

  • Tunic of Time – The Depths (-2003, 1310, -0715)
  • Time Trousers – The Depths (-4181, -0702, -1121)
  • Cap of Time – The Depths

Where To Find The Tunic Of Time

The Tunic of Time can be found in the Depths. You can head over to Hyrule Ridge Chasm (-2633, 1132, 0176) via the Lindor’s Brow Skyview Tower and proceed forward from there. Once you are down there you will find the Tikanur Lightroot (-2529, 1170, -0623). From here you will need to head east. Do keep your gloom resistance in check since you will need it to traverse ahead. Proceed forward until you get to Lindor Canyon Mine.

The reward you are looking for is covered by an open structure with stairs leading up to it. Open the chest (-2003, 1310, -0715) to get the Tunic of Time.

Where To Find The Time Trousers

The Time Trousers are also found in the Depths. You should head over to Gerudo Summit Chasm (-4204, -0654, 0682) via Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower and make your way from there. Once there, the chest you are looking for is in southeast of the chasm icon. Head towards the center of the ruins and you can find the chest (-4181, -0702, -1121) covered by a structure with stairs leading to it.

Where To Find The Cap of Time

The Cap of Time can also be found in the Depths. You should make your way to the Hyrule Ridge Chasm (-2633, 1132, 0176) via Lindor’s Brow Skyview Tower and make your way from there. Head southeast of the Tikanur Lightroot. You will find a giant root at (-2426, 1017, -0546) which will act as your path. You then need to climb up the branch and then glide down to the other end. Keep moving north and use the smaller branch on your right to get over the wall on the other end.

Now head northwest and off the cliff. Head towards the lightroot (-3063, 1620, -0687). You will start to see statues that will help you navigate. You will encounter an NPC that is next to a fallen statue. Beware of the NPC! Stay on the right side of the path and make your way forward until you start seeing the next lightroot.

Ignore the Corvash Canyon Mine and activate the Worihas Lightroot (-3352, 2384, -0802). Now use the root on the right to climb over the wall. Move southwest and continue forward and keep looking at your map to make sure where you are going. You will come to a tall wall which you can climb and get to the other end. From here you will be able to see the light root, so progress forward in its direction.

Activate the So-oaw Lightroot (-4058, 1988, -0674). Now open up the map to see a section northwest with a gap. This is where you need to go. You will need to corner it from the left side and up north again. Once at the other end, you will see an enemy scanner. Use this as a reference point and move towards it.

As you make your way, you will find a plateau and another lightroot far off. You will need to head towards this lightroot. Activate the Nupisoyuat Lightroot (-4539, 2885, -0708). You can then proceed to the location in the image below to find the chest you are looking for.

The area is covered in lava but you can navigate the roots to make your way to the chest.
