In this Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening Guide, we’ll walk you through everything you need to know about acquiring the Ocarina in the game. We’ll also guide on learning all the songs that Link can play.
Zelda: Link’s Awakening Ocarina
To get your hands on Ocarina, the first thing that you need to do is to acquire the Power Bracelet from Bottle Grotto dungeon and Pegasus Boots from the Key Cavern dungeon. With these two crucial items at your disposal, return to the Mabe Village.
Once you’re back, you need to head toward the entrance of the mysterious Dream Shrine and clear the area of the large rocks using your newly found powers. After you’re inside the shrine, sleep and smash through the enemies using your Pegasus Boots to find the Ocarina in a chest.
Now that you’ve access to your Ocarina, time to learn a few songs that you can play in Zelda: Link’s Awakening.
Ballad of the Wind Fish
To learn “Ballad of the Wind Fish”, you need to speak to Marin in the Animal Village.
To learn “Manbo’s Mambo”, you need to go to Tal Tal Heights and talk to the Big Fish sitting in a cave near the Angler’s dungeon. This song allows you to wrap to any point on the Koholint Island – pretty handy!
Frog’s Song of Soul
To learn “Frog’s Song of Soul”, you need to solve the signpost puzzle near the southeast edge of the Mabe Village. You need to know this song if you wish to enter the Eagle Tower dungeon in the Mabe Village.
