In Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem, players have complete freedom to create the build of their dreams. However, in certain areas you can permanently get stronger should you decide to focus on those areas alone. In the case where you are unhappy with any of your choices, they can be undone for a certain amount of gold.   We have already discussed Bleeding Edge Melee Build, Ranged Bow DPS Build, and Mage DPS build. Now, let’s check out the process of creating a Wolcen Tank DPS Build.

Wolcen Tank DPS Build

As discussed in other build guides, what you should know is that there three main departments for damage dealing in Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem – Melee, Ranged, and Magic. Since there is plenty of freedom there are no set build types so you can always mix and match. However, if you are looking to create a strictly tank DPS build, we can help you figure out the best skills and perks for it.

Keep in mind that builds go through the  Gate of Fates, this is where to finalize your skills and perks. Gate of Fates is a new perk system used by the makers of Wolcen. The sprawling wheel of nodes is used to pair your favorite trees. Trees that handle damage are Soldier and Sentinel so most of your points go to these two trees. You need special points to unlock new perks, each level up gives you points to invest in your perks.

Best Perks To Get

Let’s first look at the Soldier tree which is the foundation of your Wolcen Tank DPS build. You can go for perks like The Wild Card and Second Wind to pump up your Tanky character in Wolcen. Heavy bow and Capable are also great perks to have. Here’s the full list of best perks for Tank DPS build for Lords of Mayhem.

The next perk tree you should focus on is the Warmonger tree. Activate the Zealous Might node in the Soldier Perk tree to gain access to the Warmonger perks. Warmonger abilities are used to supplement your damage-dealing and help you take care of enemies faster.

Best Skills To Get

To help you dish out loads of damage, we’re listing the best skills that will suit this play style. However that being said, this does involve you to get a bit lucky, as the Enneracts that teach skills are dropped by enemies, so if you’re unlucky to keep playing till you eventually get it. Keeping in mind that it might take some time before all these skills are available to you. Skills are random drops in Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem.

Best Skills  Description

Wings of  Ishmir  This will be your bread and butter to generate rage. It will also allow you to charge right into a massive horde of monsters.
Bleeding Edge  This skill allows you to toss a whirling axe in a circle around you and it can also be upgraded to have a stun effect. Use this when you get surrounded by monsters.
Bulwark of Dawn  Since you’ll be taking damage as well and will need healing to tank even more damage. This is where this skill comes into play. It is an area of the effect that will heal you as long as your standing in it.
Sovereign Shout  This skill will buff your attack speed by 25% and it generates Rage as well. The fast your attack speed the more monsters you can kill quickly. So your ultimate combo at the end will be to Dive in with Wings of Ishmir, drop the Bulwark, and get to work with Bleeding Edge.

All of these details should be enough to get your Tank DPS to build in Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem ready to go.
