Wild Hearts Beginner Tips to Become the Ultimate Hunter

On the first glance, you will notice that there are quite a few similarities between Monster Hunter and Wild Hearts. There are, however, some interesting mechanics that warrant a brief introduction. That is what this guide entails. In this Wild Hearts guide, we have shared some tips that will help you easily get started with it.

Wild Hearts Beginner Tips and Tricks

Below, we have provided a few tips that will help you become better at Wild Hearts, especially if you are a Monster Hunter player:

Similarities in Weapons

There are only a handful of weapons in Wild Hearts when compared to Monster Hunter. If you are a Monster Hunter player, you will immediately notice some similarities. Aside from somewhat similar aesthetics, weapons in Wild Hearts also function a little like Monster Hunter. Try to experiment with different weapons to see which ones you prefer the most. However, it is important to note that you will need to unlock some of these weapons first.

Potions

There is no concept of brewing potions in Wild Hearts. Before starting a battle, you are advised to visit different sites to create a Hunter’s Tent which will let you replenish water that serves as a Healing Potion. Aside from this, also try to acquire the Water Toter skill to increase the amount of Healing Water.

Equipment-based Skills

Every piece of equipment, whether an armor piece or a weapon, has a built-in skill that you should be able to incorporate into your build. In order to use these skills, however, you will need to upgrade a piece in one of two pathways i.e., Human or Kimono. Moreover, you will also need to have the required amount of resources which is pretty hard at times. But once upgraded, you will be able to match different pieces to use the skills that complement your playstyle the most.

Farm Edibles

While roaming around the world of Wild Hearts, we definitely recommend picking up every food item that you come across. Try to consume these before a battle as these items provide a boost to HP, Crit. chance, etc. and are super helpful.

Get Used to Karakuri

Karakuri are small structures that you are able to create in the middle of combat for various benefits. These include but are not limited to get a breathing room to revive/heal, trap monsters, avoid oncoming attacks, etc. It has a fairly seamless interaction so it will not take you a lot of time to get used to it. Building these require you to have Threads that you can acquire by destroying the glowing spots on a monster.

We hope these tips helped you in Wild Hearts. Be sure to see our detailed Wild Hearts wiki page for other tips and strategies.
