In GreedFall, you’ll often get into trouble for trying to access different areas. However, there’s a way to prevent that. What you can do is to wear a faction’s signature costume to avoid unnecessary trouble. There are a few side quests in GreedFall which will require you to have Naut Costume equipped in order to avoid fighting a bunch of enemies. In case you don’t have it, here’s how you can find Naut Costume in GreedFall.
GreedFall Naut Costume
Once you get to the Serene, you need to head down to the Harbor Area. Once you’re there, check your map for an area called the “storeroom”. This is the place you need to go to in order to find the Naut Costume. In case you’re having trouble finding the area, open up your map and check the areas around the docks.
Once you’ve found the docks, head toward the storeroom and explore it. You should be able to find a chest hiding in a corner alongside some other goodies. It’s this chest that you’re looking for. You need to loot the chest and grab the Naut Coat which essentially qualifies as the Naut Costume.
Once equipped, you should be able to go on and about the Naut faction areas without having to fight your way through. However, it’s important to note that this only applies if you didn’t do anything for the faction to hate you since GreedFall is very heavy on choices and their consequences.
Another important thing that you need to keep in mind is that it’s only your character who needs the costume. The rest of your party members should easily be able to follow you wherever you go without needing one.
