Warhammer 40K Rogue Trader: Eurac V Lab Puzzle Solution

In “Warhammer 40K Rogue Trader,” the Eurac V Lab Puzzle is a crucial part of the “Secrets of the Navis Nobilite” quest. The puzzle is located in the Eurac V lab and involves crafting a control rod and other beneficial items using specific ingredients. The lab offers two main activities:

  1. Remaking the Control Rod: This is a straightforward process where you select the option to “remake the control rod” at a device in the north part of the room, leading to the next objective in the quest.
  2. Crafting Beneficial Items: You can craft either “Adaptive Antidotes” or “Elixir of Warp Neutrality”. Each item has unique effects and requires a specific recipe.

How to Solve the Laboratory Puzzle on Eurac V

Solution 1: Crafting the Adaptive Antidote

  1. Ingredients Needed:
    • Psy-Crystal
    • Biogel
    • Data-Crypt H-41-OK
    • Mutated Flesh Sample

Use the Transducer to process Psy-Crystal into Crystal Dust and then add Crystal Dust to the Reagent Flask. Use Biogel in the Catalyst Flask before inserting Data-Crypt H-41-OK into the Data-Crypt Connector. The next step is to add Mutated Flesh Sample to the Tissue Flask.

Start the machine and collect the Adaptive Antidot from the blue capsule.

Effect: Grants immunity to toxic damage with a -10 penalty to Toughness (TGH) until combat ends.

Solution 2: Crafting the Elixir of Warp Neutrality

  1. Ingredients Needed:
    • Adamantium
    • Unidentified Acid
    • Data-Crypt K-04-OH
    • Flesh Sample

Process Adamantium into Adamantium Dust using the Transducer and then place Adamantium Dust in the Reagent Flask. Add Unidentified Acid to the Catalyst Flask and insert Data-Crypt K-04-OH in the Data-Crypt Connector. Add Flesh Sample to the Tissue Flask and start the machine and collect the Elixir of Warp Neutrality from the blue capsule.

Effect: Grants immunity to warp damage and a -10 penalty to Fellowship (FEL), but prevents dealing warp damage until the end of combat.

When attempting the Eurac V Lab Puzzle in “Warhammer 40K Rogue Trader”, it’s crucial to be mindful of the ingredients you use. Unlike some puzzles where trial and error can be part of the strategy, this puzzle is less forgiving. If you accidentally place incorrect ingredients into any slot of the machine, these ingredients cannot be removed.

Using the wrong combination of ingredients will not only fail to produce the desired item but will also result in the destruction of the machine. Once the machine is destroyed due to incorrect ingredients, there is no in-game method to repair or reset it.

The only recourse if you have destroyed the machine is to revert to a previous game save. This means you should:

  • Save Frequently: It’s a good practice to save your game before interacting with the puzzle machine.
  • Be Attentive: Double-check the ingredients and their respective slots as per the solutions provided to avoid any mistakes.

Once you solve the lab puzzle, the elevator will start running as well.
