In the newly released Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters there are eight different classes for you to choose from. Out of the right available classes, four are basic while the other four are more advanced. Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate Daemonhunters Classes
Let’s first talk about the basic classes available in the game.
Justicar: For your front-line defense Justicar is the right class due to its heavy assault units. It is the tank class that can use the Stormbolters and gets the Terminator armor. This class can also give its allies armor buffs and stronger melee attacks.
Purgator: If you want a ranged class with powerful weapons then Purgator is the one. It is a special class of Grey Knights. This class has access to abilities that boost ranged weapons and can provide suppression support.
Interceptor: This class is more agile compared to Justicar but comes with pretty much the same abilities. The best part is the teleport abilities that allow you to maneuver the battlefield with ease, and create flanking positions. Interceptor class can easily counter enemies with Psychic abilities.
Apothecary: As the name suggests, this is the healer class used to heal allies. It can pocket Grey Knights in battle as well as provide buffs for Grey Knight. Apothecary has special Psychic Attacks and buffs for Servo Skulls.
Purifier: This class is more focused on the flamer and can take care of sanctified flames, mutations, and afflictions. The class is close to Justicar so use it for close-range battles.
Paladin: Melee attacks are a Paladin specialty. This class has a strong defense and is able to use Advanced Terminator Armor.
Librarian: If you want to use advanced Psyker abilities then use the Librarian class. Librarian has effective ranged attacks and is able to provide ranged support.
Chaplain: This class gives special buffs to Grey Knights such as Prayers and Litanies. Chaplain is an Advanced Apothecary.
