Walking Dead Onslaught Beginners Guide: Tips And Tricks To Win Every Time

Walking Dead Onslaught Tips

Walking Dead Onslaught is a VR Walking Dead experience and if you are interested in playing the game then there are a couple of things that you need to know. In this Walking Dead Onslaught beginners guide, we are going to give you some useful tips and tricks that will help you win.

Walking Dead Onslaught Tips And Tricks

The following are some useful tips and tricks that you should keep in mind when playing Walking Dead Onslaught:

Pick Your Loadout Carefully

In the game, you have access to a total of 24 weapons. There are all kinds of different weapons to choose from and these range from single fire weapons such as the crossbow to melee weapons such as the katana or a shovel. We recommend choosing a balanced loadout that has a melee weapon and a ranged weapon so that you are ready for anything that comes your way.

Push Them Away

When enemies get too close then you can grab them, slap them around and even push them away. This is a Walking Dead Onslaught tip that is going to come in handy once you get the hang of things and make yourself comfortable. You can even push a walker into multiple others in order to stagger them all. This will give you a moment to deal damage to them all or figure out what your next move is going to be.

Play Close Attention To Your Allies

An area is never truly clear. At least that is the approach that you should take when playing the game. An enemy can come out of nowhere and take you by surprise. Keep an ear open for walker growls. If you hear them becoming louder then that means that you should rush out of the area as fast as you can.

Higher Risk Equals Higher Rewards

The higher the risk the higher the reward. The higher the difficulty of the game the better the rewards. Note that the Veteran difficulty is not something that you should take lightly. If you are up for it then you should go for it. You can head over to Alexandria to upgrade your gear and buildings in order to have a better fighting chance. Getting different upgrades will increase your chance of survival.

Pick Up All Resources That You Find

You will find plenty of resources as you complete missions or explore in the game. You should pick them up. You can bring them back to upgrade your buildings and gear.

Hit Hard, Really Really Hard

This is a VR game so the harder you move your arms and hands, the harder the melee blow is going to be. Use this to your advantage in order to deal the most amount of damage. There is no in-game stamina system but your own stamina is going to drain pretty quickly in the game.

Tweak The Settings

Everyone has different preferences and this is a VR game so you are going to have your own personal preferences when it comes to the setting. We recommend checking out the tutorial again or tweaking the settings in order to find the settings that best suit your needs.

Positioning Is Key

Killing an enemy or two is very simple but when there is a hoard of enemies coming at you then things can get tricky really quick. This is where positioning is going to come into play. Position yourself in ways that give you the upper hand. You will have to get creative in order to make the most of the positioning in the game. We recommending staying out of grappling distance so that enemies do not grab you. Find choke points to limit how many enemies can pass so that you can take them out in limited numbers rather than fighting them head-on all at the same time.

Hide The HUD For A More Immersive Experience

In the settings, you have the option to hide certain parts of the HUD. This is great if you want a more immersive experience. There is even a phantom limbs setting.

These are all the Walking Dead Onslaught tips that we have for you.
