How to Complete the Symmetrical Energy Triumph in Destiny 2: Vow of the Disciple

Symmetrical Energy is one of the triumphs needed to get the Disciple-Slayer seal in Destiny 2. To complete the triumph, you will need to reach the Rhulk encounter in Vow of the Disciple. Unlike the challenges that reward extra loot, triumphs are solely needed to acquire the Raid Seal — Disciple-Slayer in case of Vow of the Disciple. In this Destiny 2 guide, we have detailed all there is to know about completing the Symmetrical Energy triumph in Vow of the Disciple raid.

Destiny 2: Vow of the Disciple Symmetrical Energy Triumph

Before we begin, please do note that the guide assumes you know how the encounter works. The triumph basically requires you to deposit the 2 buffs within 5 seconds of each other. While simple on paper, it requires a lot of teamwork. After beginning the encounter, here is how it needs to play out:

  • P1 stands on the middle-plate and shoot the large crystal above Rhulk to get the Leeching Force.
  • While P1 is on the middle-plate, P2 and P3 needs to shoot the little crystals in the air to get the Leeching Force.
  • Now P2 needs to stand on the middle-plate and distribute the Leeching Force to P1 and P4.
  • P3 and P4 will then stand in the beam to turn the Leeching Force into the Eminating Force — you will also need to dunk simultaneously.
  • Once done, let P1 stand on the middle-plate again and repeat the entire process.
  • Since you need to deposit a total of 6 symbols, you should be able let P2 and P3 dunk during the last set.
  • Once done correctly, Rhulk should immediately enter the DPS phase.
  • The remaining two players will be responsible for calling out the symbols, defeating adds, etc.

Also, contrary to popular belief, you do not need to deposit after heading up to actually DPS the boss. As long as nobody has the Leeching Force while you are heading up the stairs, you should be good to go. Lastly, if you are unable to one-phase Rhulk, you will need to repeat the entire thing again.

This is everything we have on how to complete the Symmetrical Energy triumph in Destiny 2: Vow of the Disciple. If there is anything else that you would like to add, be sure to let us know in the comments down below!
