Maypoles in Valheim are unique structures that provide additional comfort whenever players rest near them. By themselves, they’re a little hard to find which is why it’s recommended to build them. In this guide, we’ve detailed everything there’s to know about how to build Maypoles in Valheim.
Valheim Maypoles
Maypoles can be used to get additional comfort in the game. In order to find it, head over to abandoned villages in the Meadows biome. Once there, it can be found in the middle of the area. To get the most out of a Maypole, players must build their houses around it since it can’t be built in the multiplayer server as of right now. However, there’s a little workaround to counteract it using the Debug Mode.
To begin, open up the console command by pressing the ‘F5’ key and type ‘imacheater’ in it. After that, type in ‘debugmode’ in order to enable the game’s Creative Mode. Once that’s done, head over to the Workbench and equip the Hammer. To build it, open up the Furniture Tab and select the Maypole from it. As for the crafting materials needed to build it, they include:
4x Thistle + 10x Wood + 4x Dandelion
Players who are unsure as to where to find these things, below is a brief overview of everything there’s to know:
- Wood can be collected from trees, stumps, branches, Greydwarf, etc.
- Thistle can be acquired from Black Forest as well as the Swamp biome. It can be gathered every 240 minutes.
- Dandelion can be gathered from the Meadows biome. Similar to Thistle, it can be collected after every 240 minutes.
With everything collected, all that players need to do is to head over to the Workbench and build it.
