As we progress through the game, inventory space starts to become a little tough to work with. There are far too many resources and important items than what Valheim allows us to store. One common question that a lot of new players have is related to increasing the inventory space in Valheim. In this guide, we’ve detailed everything there’s to know about increasing inventory space in Valheim.
Valheim Increase Inventory Space
As of right now, there isn’t any way to increase the inventory space in Valheim. We’re provided with 32 slots to work with and that’s pretty much all. We can, however, try to have a lot of chests in order to store extra items and resources that we’ve got. But there are better ways explained below.
There’s also our Carry Weight that we need to take into consideration. We’re allowed a maximum of 300 Carry Weight which is more than enough at the start. However, we do start to feel a little limited near the endgame. This is where Megingjord comes into play. It can be bought from Haldor for a hefty price of 950 Gold Coins to increase our Carry Weight by 150.
Lastly, we’ve got the amazing Modding Community for Valheim. There are a lot of mods that we can take advantage of. One such mod available on the NexusMods is called “More Slots”. What this mod does is that it allows us to add extra rows in our inventory but it needs to be equal to or more than 4. Not only this, but we can also combine this mod with another one called “Custom Container Sizes” which is huge.
That’s all we’ve got in how to increase inventory space in Valheim. Feel free to check out our detailed Valheim wiki guides for more help on the game.
