Being a survival game, players have to do everything in Valheim like building a base, protecting the character from cold, and more. Also, the player character doesn’t auto-heal as players have to do it themselves. In this Valheim guide, we will help players with how to heal.
How To Heal In Valheim
As I mentioned above, Valheim is all about survival. Players have to create and build everything for themselves. This means they have to explore and gather resources. Players can get hurt in Valheim while exploring and will have to heal. Otherwise, this could lead to player character’s death.
To heal in Valheim, all players have to do is eat something. In the beginning of the game, players will have animal meat and Raspberries readily available to eat and heal. Players can pick Raspberries from the bushes scattered across the Meadow Biome.
For meat, players have to hunt boars or deer in Valheim. Then cook the meat before eating it and the player character will heal.
Another way to heal in the game is by drinking mead. Players can brew different kinds of mead in Valheim that grant different buffs. One of the mead recipes allows players to heal. Check out our How To Brew Mead Guide, to see how players can brew mead to heal themselves. However, mead counts as an alcoholic in nature.
