There are quite a lot of resources in V Rising. One resource that is needed to upgrade gear is Leather. Farming it is simple but the game does not do a good job of explaining it. In this V Rising guide, we have detailed all there is to know about getting Leather.
V Rising Leather Farming
There are a couple of methods using which the player can get Leather.
The easiest method of farming Leather in V Rising is by looting Bandit Camps scattered around the world. Before raiding a Bandit Camp, however, it is a good idea to check the loot that can be acquired from it. Just base somewhere near a Bandit Camp and loot it whenever possible. Another thing to keep in mind is that Leather can also drop as a random loot from these Bandit Camps even if it is not listed.
Aside from this, the player can also set up a Tannery after defeating Keely the Frost Archer. Once defeated, the player will be able to build one for 8x Planks and 160x Animal Hides. After it has been installed, the player will need to collect Animal Fiber by hunting Wolves as well as Bear. A total of 16x Animal Hides are needed to make 1x Leather so the player will need to hunt a lot.
