Tannery is one of the most important structures that can be built in V Rising. It allows the player to create Leather which is needed to upgrade gear. In this V Rising guide, we have detailed all there is to know about building a Tannery.
V Rising Tannery
One method of acquiring Leather is by looting Bandit Camps. It is a good idea to build the Castle next to Bandit Camps which can be looted repeatedly. Hovering over a Bandit Camp on the map should show a list of rewards that can be looted from it. Even if it does not show Leather as a reward, it is still a good idea to loot the camp as it can still yield Leather.
The biggest method of acquiring Leather in V Rising is by building a Tannery at the Castle. In order to build one, the player needs to defeat Keely the Frost Archer. We have a detailed guide on how to defeat her in a separate guide. It can be a tough battle unless the player is at Gear Score 20.
After defeating her, travel to Castle and build one there. Once build, the player needs to gather Animal Hides by hunting different animals.
