God of War Ragnarok Untamed Fury Locations (Images and Video)

Kratos and Atreus meet the Untamed Fury boss during their journey in God of War Ragnarok. Untamed Fury is a Centaur mini-boss who puts up a good fight, but with the right strategy and our guide, you can find and take it down quickly. There are 5 locations where the Untamed Fury can be found in the Crater area of Vanaheim.

The boss disappears after it takes a certain amount of damage and reappears at a different location. This makes it annoying on top of being a tough fight.

All Untamed Fury Locations

In total, there are 5 locations where the Untamed Fury will spawn. Most of the time, its spawn locations are fixed, but sometimes, it can spawn at other random locations. We will try to cover as many locations as possible below.

Note: If the Untamed Fury doesn’t appear at any of these locations, try changing the time to day via the Celestial Altar.

Untamed Fury Location #1

This location is where you encounter the Untamed Fury Boss. The location is in the Venahiem Plains. It is near the Wishing Well, on the opposite side. Refer to the image above for the exact location. The Untamed Fury is usually surrounded by a purple mist, making it easier to spot from a distance.

Untamed Fury Location #2

This location is one of the random locations where the Untamed Fury sometimes shows up. It is also in Vanhiem near The Sinkhole. Go down the zipline and you should immediately see the boss roaming the area. Once you do a certain amount of damage, Untamed Fury will disappear and show up at this location.

Untamed Fury Location #3

The third location is challenging, but here’s what you need to do. From the location shown in the first image, take the boat from the River and travel to the locked gate blocking your path (shown in the second image). Park the boat to the side and go to the gate. To the right side of the gate, there is a chain you can pull to open it.

Get back to the boat, go through the gate, and keep following the river until you reach the cave shown in the image above. Leave the boat at the beach and enter the cave, and navigate all the way to the end using our video tutorial below.

Untamed Fury Location #4

This location is in the Vanhiem Jungle; at the river bank, park your boat and jump down into the ruins. The Untamed Fury will appear to your left before going away after taking some more damage.

Untamed Fury Location #5

Go to the location shown in the picture above (Vanhiem Jungle) and pass the fast travel point. To your right should be a small opening. You can then immediately see the Untamed Fury’s final location in God of War Ragnarok.
