The ability to instantly travel is a handy feature in Tribes of Midgard. While exploring the world of the game, players will often be forced to quickly get to another area e.g., to the village to fend off attackers, etc. But how does one unlock and use the fast travel feature in the game? In this guide, we have explained all there is to know about how to fast travel across different locations in the Tribes of Midgard.
Tribes of Midgard Fast Travel
There are a couple of ways using which players can fast travel across the world of the Tribes of Midgard.
Players have access to fast travel from the start of the game, thanks to a Rune that can be found in the Tools. The said Rune can be activated by pressing R3 on the controller and T on the MnK. Activating the Rune in any corner of the world will teleport players back to the Shrine at the village in a few seconds. However, do note that the Rune can only be used to wrap back to the Shrine at the village.
But what if one wants to travel from one point on the map to the other?
That is where Shrines scattered around the world come into play. While exploring the world of Tribes of Midgard, players will come across different Shrines – these are rocky formations that appear as a star on the map.
Once activated, these Shrines work as different fast travel points to move around the world. To begin, head over to a Shrine and use the fast travel feature to instantly travel to another discovered Shrine or to the one found in the village. However, do note that the world of the game is procedurally generated so it is impossible to pinpoint the locations of these Shrines.
