Ursine armor is the most sought-after armor set in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Ursine armor set belongs to the Bear School of Witchers and gives notable boosts to your crit chance, attack speed, adrenaline, and dismemberment, and can even be upgraded to improve its stats further. Where to Find Ursine Armor in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
Ursine has a base armor set, which can be upgraded to Superior, Grandmaster, and more. The base Ursine Armor set is found in Skellige. Go north of Urialla Harbor to reach Yngvar’s Fang, where you can find armor pieces but to get the Steel or Silver swords that go with the Ursine set, you need to visit the Ruined Inn at the south-central coast of Ard Skellige or the old fort east of Kaer Trolde.
Finding any of the armor pieces or one of the swords will trigger the Scavenger Hunt: Bear School Gear side quest.
How to Get Basic Ursine Armor Set in The Witcher 3
Travel to Urialla Harbor in Skellige and go to the old castle. The main entrance to the castle is blocked, but there is an alternate route to the side, which requires some parkour. Basic Ursine Silver Sword Location
In the Skellige Isles, visit the old ruins as shown in the picture above). There are some enemies, but they optional fights, so you can grab the treasure from the dead body in the ruin and run. The treasure in question is the diagram for the Silver Ursine Sword.
Basic Ursine Steel Sword Location
Travel back to the main Island and head southeast of the town of Fyresdal. Or you can fast-travel directly to the post at the Ruined Inn. Inside the Ruined Inn, you will find a secret basement containing the diagram of the basic Ursine Steel Sword from Bear School.
Basic Ursine Crossbow Location
Travel to the town of Svorlag on Skellige Isles. There is a cave on the Island (as shown in the image above) where you can find the Ursine Crossbow diagram. Inside the cave, you will fight one or two drowners. Keep going forward, deep into the cave, where you find a dead body to loot.

Enchanted Ursine Armor Set

Grandmaster Ursine Armor Set
To get the Grandmaster Ursine set, you must purchase The Witcher 3 Blood and Wine expansion. Grandmaster Smith in Beauclair crafts the set in question. Go to the Flovive signpost in Toussaint and locate the ruined building. At the back of the building, use Aard to clear the rubble and enter to find the chest with the diagram.
The next location is to the north of Flovive, inside a cave near the lake. Use the Witcher symbols to navigate the area and locate the chest with another Grandmaster diagram. There are centipedes in the cave so prepare for a fight.
