Build a Pond in The Sims 4: Cottage Living

Building and decorating ponds in The Sims 4: Cottage Living is easy, provided that you have the know-how of the tools in the game.

To build a pond, you need to make sure that you have a large enough space to build a pond, and then you need to head into the ‘Build’ section and find the landscaping tool.

A landscaping tool will be used to create the overall size of the pool and its depth. You can make a pond of size and depth as you may desire. After selecting the size and depth of the pond, you can use the Water Tool, which was added in the Cottage Living patch of The Sims 4. This tool can be used to fill the ponds with water to a specific height.

After filling up the ponds you can decorate them as well. To decorate a pond, you first need to select the type of pond water that you want to make the water in the pond like. You can select the water to be dirty, algae water, or you can choose to have plants in your water.

Now, this is where the real decorations come in place and you can start with including bog logs and go on to adding lilypads and cattails grass. All the decorations that you make to your pond look super amazing and cool, and these decorations are not even that expensive.

This was everything that you needed to know about building a pond in The Sims 4: Cottage Living. For more help on the game, feel free to check out our detailed The Sims 4: Cottage wiki page.
