How To Upgrade Weapons And Armor
To be able to upgrade your weapons and armor in The Outer Worlds, you must have 20 score in Science, one of the Tech skills. With Tinker ability unlocked, you’ll be able to use the Workbench to upgrade your weapons.
Workbenches can be found on your ship and in most settlements. Once at the Workbench, go to the Tinker tab and then select the weapon you want to upgrade. Obviously, it’ll cost you Bits to upgrade your weapon. Follow the same process to upgrade your armor in The Outer Worlds.
How To Repair Weapons And Armor
Weapons and armor in The Outer Worlds degrade over time and need to be repaired in order to keep them functional. Just go to a workbench, select the repair tab and follow the same process as you did while upgrading.
