The Outer Worlds Console Commands Guide – Unlock Dev-Console, Effects

Obsidian’s The Outer Worlds supports a collection of PC console commands that can be used for different effects. However, the way dev-console works in TOW is a little different than Fallout, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, etc. where all you needed to do was to press the ~ key to launch the console. The Outer Worlds Console Commands Guide will help you learn all about different PC codes in TOW.

The Outer Worlds Console Commands

To start, first, you need to download SunBeam’s Unlocker from the link. You’ll also need the password sunbeamFRF (caps sensitive) to unlock the .zip file. You need to unpack the files of the folder in the directory:

Epic Games/TheOuterWorlds/Indiana/Binaries/Win64

Once you’ve done that, you’ll need to run The Outer Worlds and open up the Main Menu. At this point, press Alt + Tab and open IGCInjector.exe from the files you pasted in Win64 folder.

Once it’s done with the updates, close the .exe and press ~ to open the console.

How to Unlock Dev-Console Permanently?

To do so, you’ll need to download the Dev-Console Unlock Mod from the link provided. Similar to SunBeam’s Unlocker, you’ll also need to unpack it in the Win64 folder. Once done, you’ll need to use UE4ConsoleLaunch.exe to run TOW with the console enabled.
