Fire is easily one of the most important resources in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Aside from being a source of warmth, it is also needed to cook different types of meals for boosting stats, replenishing HP, etc. Starting a fire in The Legend of Zelda: TOTK is fairly simple and this guide will show you how to do it.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Fire

There are multiple ways of starting a fire in Zelda: TOTK. You are taught the most basic way of starting a fire fairly early in the campaign but there are a few more ways of doing that. Below, we have provided a complete rundown of different ways you can use to light a fire in the game:

Using Flint and Firewood

Probably the easiest way of starting a fire in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is to throw some Firewood on the ground and add a little Flint. After that, strike the Flint with any weapon made of Stone/Metal to create some sparks which will automatically start a campfire.

Finding these resources is pretty simple as well! You can cut down trees anywhere in Hyrule to get some Firewood. As for the Flint, it can also be found scattered across the world.

Using Elemental Weapons

Another method of creating fire without the need of salvaging Flint is to simply use an Elemental Weapon. For instance, you can Fuse your arrows with Fire Fruit in order to create Fire Arrows which you can fire at tall grass or Firewood in order to immediately start a fire.

Fire Weapons

Lastly, you can also use a Wooden Weapon to light it on fire and carry it wherever you go. This will last until you swap weapons or it breaks because of durability.

These are some of the ways you can use to start a fire in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. For more help, you can learn how to Shield Surf, Fast Travel, and finding Skyshrooms in the game.
