How To Get A Shotgun For Ellie
The first chance of getting a shotgun for Ellie is during Seattle Day 1. You have to go to the Downtown stage. This is a big location and is open with multiple places to check out.
You need to visit the Westlake Bank headquarters. Move through the rubble and you will reach the lobby which is now ruined. You will find infected and will have to deal with them.
Once you have beaten them, you will need to head over to the room at the back of the back where the vault is located. You can unlock the bank vault with the combination 60-23-06. You can read it from the note founding the bag.
Inside the vault, you will find a couple of items including a pump shotgun which is next to a dead body. This is not the only way in which you can get the shotgun but it is one of the ways in which you can get it as early as possible.
How To Get A Shotgun For Abby
Now that you know how to get a shotgun for Ellie, we can move on to Abby. Abby can get a Double Barrel Shotgun. She finds it during the Hotile Territory stage. This mission is part of Abby’s Seatle Day 1. You can get the shotgun after you have reached the area in the picture below:
There are a few shops in this area that you can visit. Enter the Ruby Dragon building and head to the upper floor. You will need to deal with the monsters here. Once you have done that head over tot he large balcony. Now jump onto the building on the opposite side of the street. Head over to the ground floor of this building and you will find the shotgun under the shop counter.
