Rockstar Games

Bully 2 has been rumored for a while now but Rockstar has not given us any confirmation regarding whether it is indeed working on the game. Some new Bully 2 concept art has been leaked and it might give us a sense of the setting of the game.

We assumed that Hopkins would be coming back as the protagonist in the new game and that he would be much older not but that does not seem to be the case according to the leaked concept art. From what we can see in these drawings, the setting of Bully 2 is pretty much the same. This could mean that we will get a new protagonist this time around.

The leak is pretty old and goes back to 2002, a lot could change between now and then. It is possible that this concept has been scrapped and will not make it to the final product but we have no way of knowing for sure until we get a confirmation from Rockstar. You can check out the concept art of Bully 2 below:

I think that a new protagonist would make sense. Rockstar is known for creating some great lead characters but the developer has shied away from female protagonists. Bully 2 might change that. I think that is something the fans would love. Look at WWE 2K20 for example. Becky Lynch is on the cover and women are now part of the career mode and fans love it. We might see something similar with Bully 2.

No matter what the case is, Bully is a major game and fans would like to see a sequel. The hype is real this time around and I hope that the game is announced soon if Rockstar is indeed working on one. If not then just put us out of our misery and confirm that it is not in development.

Bully 2 has been rumored for a while but we have not heard anything from Rockstar about the game. That is nothing new. Rockstar is generally pretty secretive about its projects and you never really know what the company is working on. An employee at the company has now mentioned that Rockstar is planning to release Bully 2 during the holidays of 2020.

Interestingly the Xbox Scarlett is coming out during the same time which means that Rockstar is going to release the game on current and next-generation consoles. Current generation console gamers are going to buy the game and so are the people that make the move to the new hardware. So it is a win-win for Rockstar. This is not new, we saw the same thing when the Xbox One came out. GTAV was released on the 360 and the Xbox One.

Bully 2 Release

While leaks can be vague at times, the Rockstar employee left a very specific message for the release of Bully 2. The message is as follows:

They way they are going about this has completely changed. As it stands, they are aiming to release their next-generation game during the holiday season of 2020.

This does make a lot of sense. This explains why we have not got an announcement so far. The timing aligns with the release of the Xbox Scarlett and the PS5. Interestingly 2 sources have the same information so they could be onto something here. YouTuber SWEGTA did not reveal the name of his source at Rockstar, for obvious reasons but from what we have heard, the timing seems right and things do add up.

This is still a leak, so you should take this information with a grain of salt. It is also worth mentioning that this is the current plan. At Rockstar, plans can always change. It will be interesting to see whether we do get a release for Bully 2 in 2020. If the game is planned for the holiday season then we might get an announcement later this year or early 2020.

The same Rockstar employee recently talked about how Rockstar was working on the game but then it was scrapped. Rockstar might be working on it again. Rumors suggest that the upcoming game will be as big as GTAV.

A remaster or enhanced version of Red Dead Redemption 2 or the original game has been rumored for the Xbox Scarlett and PS5. It seems that Rockstar knows that people are excited about it and the developers have started teasing what the future holds for the franchise. Rockstar has in no way confirmed that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be coming to Xbox Scarlett but in Rockstar fashion, it has been teased.

We know that Red Dead Redemption 2 is going to be playable on Xbox Scarlett one way or another due to backward compatibility. But we do not know if it will take advantage of the new hardware. Rob Nelson, co-studio head at Rockstar North, was asked how long the servers of the online game would be up and what would happen when Xbox Scarlett takes over. The following is what he had to say regarding the matter:

We intend to keep the game fully active and support it for the foreseeable future. It took over a year for GTA Online to truly become the game it is today and while we don’t intend to take that long with Red Dead Online, we are only just getting started. We’re excited about where the game goes from here, but we are still at the beginning. The future is full of surprises.

Updates are being added to the online version of the game in order to make it similar to the single-player version. Nelson mentioned that it took GTA Online some time to get to where it is today and the same can be said about RDR Online. It will take a while for the online part of the game to be perfect. He mentioned that each update that goes live bring the game one step closer to the goal. Nelson went on to mention the following:

We are trying to bring the world of Red Dead Online as close to the level of immersion and interaction of Red Dead Redemption II as we can. With each update, we should get closer to that goal. We are constantly working to improve every aspect of the game.

If Red Dead Redemption 2 does come to Xbox Scarlett, I hope that the game takes advantage of the new hardware. I think fans would love to play the game at 4K 60 FPS.

We have been getting rumors about Bully 2 being in development and that it would release before the next Grand Theft Auto game. It seems like those were leaks regarding a canceled project and that after working on Bully 2 for several months the game was canceled. At least that is what a former Rockstar developer would have us believe.

The developer also talked about working on a tripwire prank similar to the early rope in Red Dead Redemption 2. Being able to hide in trashcans and mini-games were also mentioned. Here is what the developer had to say about Bully 2:

Since Rockstar has never officially acknowledged Bully 2 I definitely can’t say one way or another. I definitely can’t say that I worked on it for several months before the project was canceled, nor could I talk about the pranks or climbing system I definitely wasn’t working on.

While we heard that the new game would take place in high school, the developer mentioned that Bully 2 took place in the Summer so there was no school. Plus the game was set in a nearby town and summer camp. The antagonist of the game was supposed to be Hopkin’s step-sibling. That sounds very interesting indeed.

Rockstar Bully 2

The developer mentioned that Bully 2 was indeed canceled but he is not completely sure as he is no longer working on the game. Interestingly, while Rockstar itself has never confirmed that it is indeed working on Bully 2, the game has been confirmed by people that worked on it. The composer of Bully’s soundtrack, Shawn Lee, confirmed that he was working on a sequel in 2009.

A lot of time has passed since then and it is possible that the game was canceled but Rockstar decided to start working on it again. So, there is still some hope when it comes to a sequel. We will let you know more about the game so be sure to stay tuned for more news and information.

There are multiple leaks every day about the next Rockstar game. Some claim Rockstar is working on Grand Theft Auto 6. But what’s the reality? The reality is that we won’t know what’s coming anytime soon but that shouldn’t stop us from discussing the possibilities.

Rockstar’s next game could be anything, GTA 6 or Bully 2 but this new leak points to something different entirely.

Next Rockstar Game Sounds Interesting

A recent 4chan leak has us discussing so we thought, why not share it with you? The leak is probably fake but who knows? According to a random post on 4Chan, from an alleged insider, Rockstar’s next game is “VICE.”

Now, this may or may not be true but VICE has definitely piqued our interest. Here’s everything we came to know about Rockstar’s next game from the leak.

Where is it Set?

Rockstar Games is taking us to Miami during the 80s and through the 90s. The game is set in a fictional Miami. It is not open world but pretty much the same gameplay mechanics we have come to expect from Rockstar’s previous video games.

Characters, Story, Gameplay Details, Release Date

You play a dirty cop named Donald but most NPCs call him Don or Donny. You have a Black partner named Marty. Since this isn’t an open world game Rockstar is going for something similar to Max Payne 3 in terms of gameplay mechanics. But compared to Max Payne 3 VICE is more open-ended and has stealth mechanics. It also has more exploration options.

What’s interesting is that VICE is created from the ashes of Rockstar’s Agent. VICE is using assets from the canceled Agent as well as GTA 5, Max Payne 3, and Red Dead Red Redemption 2.

The main storyline is 15 to 20 hours long. In traditional Rockstar Games fashion VICE will feature catchy soundtracks. Classic 80s tracks are used.

Rockstar is considering co-op gameplay for VICE. The release date for the game is scheduled for some time in 2020-21. Rockstar’s VICE has been in active development for a couple of years on the side.

The story is said to be a “rip-off” of Miami VICE with a Rockstar twist.

It is an interesting case if the game is using Agent’s assets. If it’s true then it means Rockstar Games has moved on from Agent. It shouldn’t be a surprise considering the company abandoned its trademark last year.

Agent’s Trademark was registered back in 2009 and since then Rockstar kept it around. The PS3 exclusive was set during the 1970s.

Bully 2 rumors have been around for a couple of months now. Word has it that Bully 2 is being developed alongside GTA 6 by Rockstar. New details have emerged and it seems that Jimmy Hopkins is going to be a freshman in university this time. The Bully 2 map is supposed to be similar to GTA 5.

We do not know much about the game at this point so take this with a grain of salt. The source mentioned that the map of Bully 2 is going to be pretty big and will include the university, the city and woods.

The report also mentions that cars will be drivable. Hopkins is expected to be older so that does make sense. Cars will be much better than bicycles and I am sure that fans are going to appreciate the upgrade.

Rockstar has not said a word about Bully 2 or GTA 6. So we have no idea whether or not this information is true. GTA 6 is most likely going to be exclusive to Xbox Scarlett and PS5. If Bully 2 is coming next then it might release on the current generation of consoles.

That would make sense. It has been a while since RDR2 was released. Bully 2 could be released in the upcoming months while fans wait for GTA 6 that is not going to release anytime before 2021/2022.

It will be interesting to see what the map of Bully 2 is like and how the game is different from the first one. The original game got a lot of praise and great reviews and we expect nothing less from Bully 2 or any other upcoming Rockstar game.

Bully 2 and GTA 6 are both highly anticipated titles. It will be interesting to see what these games will have to offer and what they are like to play. GTA 5 is getting pretty old now and GTA 6 needs to set the standard for next-generation open world games.
