Starfield Shadows In Neon Side Quest Walkthrough

Begin by boarding your spaceship and setting a course for Neon, a bustling location situated on the planet Volii Alpha within the Volii Star System.
Upon your arrival in Neon, navigate to the Free Star Ranger Outpost. Here, you’ll meet Jaylen Pryce. Engage him in conversation and express your intent to meet Billy Clayton.
After your chat with Jaylen, he will guide you to a local diner. Follow him closely, and you’ll find Billy Clayton, who seems to be busy fixing some industrial pipes outside the establishment.
Speak With Billy Clayton
Approach Billy and inquire about a particular pilot who allegedly stole a HopeTech ship and recently landed on Neon. Billy, in exchange for some assistance regarding his debt with a loan shark named Emmet Goodman, agrees to provide the information you seek.
Get The Warehouse Key And Confront Emmet
To confront Emmet Goodman, you’ll need access to a specific warehouse. This requires a Warehouse Key. Approach the Syndicate guard outside the warehouse. Through persuasion, a payment of 1000 Credits, or by showing your badge, you can obtain the key.
With the key in hand, enter the warehouse and ascend the stairs to find Emmet Goodman’s office. Engage him in dialogue. While showing your badge might not intimidate him, you have the options to persuade, pay a sum of 4000 credits, or resort to a more aggressive approach.
After dealing with Emmet, head back to the diner and update Billy on the situation. True to his word, Billy reveals that the pilot you’re after is named Grace Early. She can be located at Madame Sauvage’s Place on the Upper Platforms level.
Confront Grace
Inside Madame Sauvage’s Place, you’ll find Grace Early. She discloses her involvement with Maya Cruz and mentions receiving a cryptic message from a First member named Marco. Secure the encrypted slate from Grace, and Jaylen will recommend taking it to Ranger Alex in Akila City.
Travel To Akila City
With the encrypted slate in your possession, it’s time to depart from Neon and head to Akila City, located on the planet Akila in the Cheyenne System. In Akila City, visit The Rock and hand over the encrypted slate to Alex Shadid, who can be found in the canteen’s upper floors.
Ascend to the top floor and engage in a conversation with Marshal Daniel Blake in his office. Share your findings, particularly the names of the two high-ranking First members, Maya Cruz and Marco.
