Ubisoft is working on some big games but it seems that the highly anticipated Star Wars Outlaws and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will not be released via Steam or the Epic Games Store on PC. Ubisoft will release these titles on PC only via Ubisoft Connect.
Star Wars Outlaws And Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora PC Versions Not Coming To Steam Or Epic Games Store
This might be the first time that this has happened and it might be an attempt to push the Ubisoft+ subscription which allows players to pay a monthly fee in exchange for an expansive library of Ubisoft games. Similar to Xbox Game Pass, but with limited titles.
The official Ubisoft site does not include Steam or the Epic Games Store for the PC version of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.
It is also worth mentioning that Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is coming to Amazon Luna, the streaming service but Star Wars Outlaws is not. We already know that Ubisoft is skipping Steam when it comes to Assassin’s Creed Mirage so there is no surprise that Star Wars Outlaws is not coming to Steam but the official website does not mention the Epic Games Store either. It only mentions Ubisoft Connect as the only option for PC players.
Let us know what you think about Star Wars Outlaws and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora not releasing on Steam or Epic Games Store and being exclusive to Ubisoft Connect and whether or not you are interested in playing these titles.
