Are you seeking to enhance your character’s Force in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor? Then, look no further than Essence Crystals which are blue objects scattered throughout the game world. By using our guide, you can locate all the Essence Crystals in the game, organized by planet and zone, including both main story areas and optional locations that require backtracking with new traversal abilities.
It’s important to note that our guide only focuses on Essence Crystals that boost Force abilities. If you’re looking for XP and HP Essence Crystals then we have a separate guide for that.
All Essence Crystal Locations for Force Upgrades
Force Essence is used to upgrading your Force powers but keep in mind that some of the crystals can’t be obtained until later in the game. You may have to backtrack to earlier locations with new abilities to finally be able to pick up some Essence Crystals.
Force Essence Location #1
Once you have taken a rest at the Undercity Meats meditation point in Coruscant, you can discover this essence on the left side of the dark meat hanging room.
Force Essence Location #2
The second Force Essence is also in the Undercity Meats, refer to the images above for its exact location in Star Wars Jedi Survivor.
Force Essence Location #3
Starting from the Derelict Dam meditation point, head along the path on the right side of the dam towards the orange elevator. Utilize the roller mines to demolish the wall located below and to the left of the elevator. Combat the droids and the gorger before using the rope to ascend upwards. The essence spot can be found in the vicinity of the elevator shortcut.
Force Essence Location #4
The essence can be found in Hunter’s Quarry, behind a destructible door located near the building with the crane at the end. To reach this location, first travel to Rambler’s Reach Outpost meditation point and then proceed to Hunter’s Quarry. Look for the circular building with the crane attached and take note of the breakable door located to the right of it. Enter the building by wall run and climb up to the right, then drop down inside and activate the roller mine machine. Use one mine to blast open the main door, and another outside to break open the door that obstructs the essence point.
Force Essence Location #5
Upon entering the Bilemaw Den from the Forest Array, you will immediately spot the force essence directly ahead of you. This essence provides the ability to confuse major fauna, which refers to large animals such as Bilemaw and Goroco.
Force Essence Location #6
Upon entering the Winding Ravine, make a left turn. Use one yellow box to construct a path upwards, then navigate across the walls that are traversable. This will bring you to a second box which can be utilized as a bridge, allowing the original box to be pushed over. Push the box against the wall near the entrance, climb it, and collect your maximum force essence.
Force Essence Location #7
After obtaining the Koboh Grinder, destroy the crystals located past the room containing the two goroco, then climb up the wall. Once you reach the top, look to the right to discover a max force essence.
Force Essence Location #8
Starting from the meditation point, head towards the edge where the Storm Troopers are located. Take care of them, then turn left and use wall run to ascend to an upper platform. Continue scaling the walls until you reach the area above the meditation point, where you will discover a skill point.
Continue through the Halls until you arrive at a large red room that emits a glow and has numerous walls that you can run across. Move up one level and enter a large stairwell that leads downwards. Run to the bottom of the stairwell and jump up to a ledge in the wall to obtain a max force essence.
Force Essence Location #9
Take a left from the meditation point and continue riding until you reach a small cave. Inside the cave, there will be creatures. On a platform inside the cave, you will find a max force essence.
Force Essence Location #10
To obtain the max force essence, you will need the forcefield dash ability. Enter the workbench room and use the forcefield dash to get through to the area where the max force essence is located.
Force Essence Location #11
Jump down into the pit filled with bugs, then use the lifter droids to climb up to a ledge located at the highest point of the room. You will find a max force essence above this ledge.
