As you are web-slinging your way around in Spider-Man 2, you will come across several puzzles that you may find a little frustrating. And while these serve to add a layer of complexity to the experience, not everyone appreciates the random mental gymnastics. Fortunately, the game lets you simplify puzzles, allowing you to get back into the action. Moreover, doing so does not have any consequences — you are free to simplify a majority of the puzzles without ruining Platinum. In this guide, we have detailed everything you need to know about simplifying puzzles in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Simplify Puzzles
Puzzles in Spider-Man 2 can be quite the brain-teasers. And while there is no option to skip them altogether, you can surely simplify them a little, allowing you to focus your attention elsewhere. In order to do that, you will need to open the Accessibility options from the Settings and turn on the Simplify Puzzles option. Aside from this, you will also be able to play around with Parry Timing, Chase Assist, Auto Aim, etc.
The best thing about doing this is you will not miss out on anything except a little FOMO, perhaps. Even if you simplify every puzzle in the game, you will still get all the Achievements / Trophies needed to Platinum.
In the end, using this Accessibility Option is completely optional. You can always create a Manual Save before a puzzle, attempt to solve it, and reload the save if you are unable to do so. We do, however, recommend trying to solve these puzzles at least once since most of them are very well designed.
