Focus is very important in Spider-Man 2 since it allows you to use finishers on enemies or heal yourself at the right moment. As you progress through the game, you will unlock Focus, but you will only have a single charge, which can be very limiting. How To Increase The Number Of Focus Charges In Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
Getting additional Focus Charges is pretty straightforward. Press the TouchPad on your controller and head into the Suit Tech tab. Here, you will find the Focus upgrades. You have to unlock them in order, but the ones that you are looking for are Double Focus and Triple Focus.
Double Focus gives you a second Focus Charge, while Triple Focus Focus will give you a third Focus Charge. With both of these upgrades unlocked, you will be able to use a Finisher on three enemies back to back or heal yourself when needed.
How To Gain Focus
You gain focus by dealing damage to enemies and avoiding enemy attacks. You want to build up your combo meter since the higher your combo meter, the faster you gain Focus. In short, you can gain focus fast in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 by:
- Attacking
- Building up your combo meter
- Dodging and evading
- Avoiding getting hit
- Parrying
