Ziplines are a fun and exciting way to travel in “Sons of the Forest,” but the game imposes limits on how far you can go. In this guide, we will show you how to use a glitch in Sons of the Forest to create unlimited ziplines, allowing you to traverse the map without any restrictions.
With this glitch, you can create ziplines that go as far as you want, making it easy to travel long distances quickly. So, let’s dive into the Sons of the Forest Unlimited Zipline Glitch Guide and discover how to create unlimited ziplines today.
How to Create Unlimited Zipline in Sons of the Forest
To begin, you must choose a starting point and an ending point for the zipline. Once you have decided on these points, you need to shoot the starting point and place the endpoint right next to it.
Next, you should go to where you want the endpoint to be for the zip line, and once again shoot the starting point and place the endpoint right next to it.
Once you have placed the zipline, you should save the game and log out. You will then need to access the game’s saved data folder on your computer.
To do this, hit Windows + R, type in “app data,” and hit OK. Next, you should go to “Local Low,” then “End Night,” then “Sons of the Forest,” and then “Saves.” In this folder, there will be a folder with numbers, which is your world saves. You should select the folder for the world you are currently playing in and look for the “ZiplineManagerSavedata.json” file. You should right-click on this file and open it with Notepad.
In Notepad, you must go to “Format” and turn on “Word Wrap” to make the text easier to read. Each time you place a zipline in the game, it has a starting point and an endpoint.
The starting point of the zip line is always called “anchor A position” in these notes, and the endpoint is called “anchor B position.” The zip lines in the notepad are listed in the order in which they were placed in the game. Therefore, the last zip line the player placed in the game will be listed last in the notepad.
To create an unlimited zip line, the player must combine the coordinates of the starting point of the first zip line with the coordinates of the endpoint of the second zip line.
To do this, you need to find the first zip line you placed in the game in the notepad. You should keep all of the “anchor A position” coordinates for the first zip line, up until the comma. After the comma, you should erase all of the “anchor B position” coordinates for the first zip line, up to and including “can be dismantled true.”
You will then have two “anchor A position” coordinates in a row. The other “anchor A position” is the starting point of the second zip line. Get rid of this “anchor A position” for the second set of zip lines by deleting it entirely. Now you should have one set of coordinates for the starting point of the first zip line and one set of coordinates for the endpoint of the second zip line.
Once you have combined the coordinates, you should save the file and exit Notepad. You can then relaunch the game and enjoy the new unlimited zipline.
