Creating Fire in Sons of the Forest
Lighting a fire in Sons of the Forest is pretty simple. To start, you will need to a few Sticks and a Lighter. Finding the Lighter is simple enough as it is included in the Emergency Kit that you receive after crashing on the island. As for the Sticks, there are a couple of ways to do so. You can either ask Kelvin to find them for you or look around yourself — these are not hard to find.
After you have everything you need i.e., a Lighter and some Sticks, you are ready to light a fire. To start, you need to select Sticks and break them into two pieces. After you have made 4x Stick Pieces, equip the Lighter and burn the Sticks. That is pretty much all you need to do. If you need to create a bigger fire, you simply toss in additional Sticks.
If you need to put the fire out, sadly, there is nothing much that you can do. You can simply wait it out. Alternatively, you can avoid putting in additional Sticks. Other than that, there is not a whole lot that you can do.
