Sons of the Forest Katana Location
The first thing you will need to do is to acquire the Maintenance Keycard. This is not something you can do from the beginning as you will need to find the Shovel. You can refer to our separate guides to learn how to obtain these items easily.
After you have acquired these items, you will need to enter the cave as shown in the screenshot attached below:
In order to reach it, you will need to head over toward the large lake near the snowy mountains.
From there, you will need to enter the cave and proceed through the Underground Facility until you come across a room that requires you to use the Maintenance Keycard. Immediately after entering the room, a small cutscene will play. After the cutscene is completed, try to search the area for some really useful items.
After you are done exploring, you will need to dive deeper into the facility. As you proceed through the walkway, you will need to enter the second door on the right. You will find the Katana in this room. After you are done, try to collect the Gold Armor and Gold Mask before leaving the area.
