Hi-Rez Studios, the creator of Smite and Overwatch knock off Paladins, is working on a new game and thanks to a recently filed Trademarks, it looks like the project might be called “Divine Knockout.”  When you look at the trademark there is no information regarding its genre, platforms, etc. However, we think that Divine Knockout is under development at Prophecy Games. The studio was founded earlier this month as a subsidiary of Hi-Rez, around the same time this new Trademark was filed.

According to the official website of Prophecy Games, the Georgia based studio is made up of industry veterans with experience in developing AAA titles. Is Divine Knockout their first AAA game? We’ll game to wait and see how this goes.

Our studio is composed of passionate game industry veterans who have experience building AAA titles together over the last decade. We are enthusiastic about approaching our new communities and developments with curiosity, creativity, and constant collaboration.

The studio isn’t hiring any staff members for the time being so digging through their job listings to find out more about this game was a fruitless effort.  However, it seems the studio itself will soon be revealing the game. In a recent Tweet, Prophecy Games said the studio is “eager” to announce its new project “soon.”
