The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has seventeen Daedric Princes, and sixteen have corresponding artifacts. To get their hands on these rare artifacts, players must complete a series of challenging quests known as the “Daedric Quests.” In this guide, I’ll tell where to find all Daedric Artifacts in Skyrim and what quests you need to complete.

All Daedric Artifacts Locations in Skyrim

There are 16 Daedric artifacts in total which you need to find. I’ve mentioned them below:

  1. Azura’s Star
  2. Dawnbreaker
  3. Ebony Blade
  4. Ebony Mail
  5. Mace of Molag Bal

  7. Mehrunes’ Razor

#1: Azura’s Star or The Black Star

Azura's Star Location

After you finish the “The Black Star” quest, you will be rewarded with the Azura’s Star soul gem. With this in hand, it’ll be a cinch to snag white souls. Black Star enables you to capture both white and black souls. In other words, it allows you to catch Grand-level souls and Black Soul Gems.

#2: Dawnbreaker

Dawnbreaker Location

After completing the “The Break of Dawn” quest (Starts in the Statue of Meridia), you will be rewarded with the Dawnbreaker (Sword). This sword will deal critical damage to your enemies, including the undead such as draugr and vampires. The creatures will be turned into blue flames and scare away any nearby undead creatures.

#3: Ebony Blade

After completing the “The Whispering Door” quest (Starts by speaking with Hulda at The Bannered Mare), you will be rewarded with the Ebony Blade (Two-Handed Sword). Each strike from this sword will cost the enemy 10 HP, and you can increase the damage by cutting friendly characters into two pieces. In addition, every two friendlies that perish will make the sword more dangerous, with a maximum damage of 30 HP.

#4: Ebony Mail

Ebony Mail Armor Location

After completing the “Boethiah’s Calling” quest (Starts by speaking with one of the Boethiah Cultists or visiting the Sacellum of Boethiah), you will be rewarded with the Ebony Mail (Cuirass). This armor has a magical charm that mutes the sound and gives 5 Poison Damage to all nearby enemies. This unique armor also produces a shadowy effect, so you can sneak a peek easily.

#5: Mace of Molag Bal

Mace of Molag Bal Location

After completing the “The House of Horrors” quest, you will be rewarded with the Mace of Molag Bal (Weapon). Not only does this weapon have a unique design, but it also decreases the enemy’s stamina and Magicka by 25 points with every hit. As a result, the Mace of Molag Bal is a powerful weapon that can steal an enemy’s soul in just 3 seconds. Combined with Azura’s Star, it makes for a deadly combo.

#6: Masque of Clavicus Vile

If the Dragonborn does not use the axe to slay Barbas during the “A Daedra’s Best Friend” quest, they will be rewarded with a Masque of Clavicus Vile (a heavy helmet) when they complete the quest. The benefits of this helm are: Save 20% on every purchase, 10x Point Increase in Speech, and 5% Quick Magicka Regeneration.

#7: Mehrunes’ Razor

After completing the “Pieces of the Past” quest, you will be rewarded with the Mehrunes’ Razor (dagger). Having this dagger will increase your chance of getting an instant kill against enemies by 2%. However, it does not apply to Miraak or Karstaag.

#8: Oghma Infinium

Oghma Infinium Location

After completing the “Discerning the Transmundane” quest, you will be rewarded with the Oghma Infinium (Tome of knowledge). Upon reading, Oghma Infinium will grant a permanent 5-point boost to all skills related to the Warrior constellation. However, this perk is permanent.

#9: Ring of Namira

Ring of Namira Location

After completing the “The Taste of Death” quest, you will be rewarded with the Ring of Namira. By wearing this ring, you will get the following bonuses:

  • 50% boost in Health Regeneration
  • 50+ Point boost in Health
  • 50+ Point boost Stamina

#10: Sanguine Rose

Sanguine Rose Location

After completing the “A Night to Remember” quest, you will be rewarded with the Sanguine Rose. Sanguine Rose enables the user to call upon a Dremora for 60 seconds, after which the Dremora will retreat.

#11: Savior’s Hide or Ring of Hircine

Depending on how you complete the “Ill Met by Moonlight” quest, you will be rewarded with either the Savior’s Hide or Ring of Hircine. If you kill the Sinding at the quest ending, you will be rewarded with the Savior’s Hide. The Hide will provide a 15% boost to Magic Resistance and a 50% boost to Poison Resistance.

On the other hand, If you choose to help Sinding with his quest, you will be generously rewarded with the Ring of Hircine. This ring grants the owner the to turn himself into a wolf for a day. However, the condition is that you must be a wolf for it to work.

#12: Skeleton Key

You’ll receive The Skeleton Key during the “Blindsided” quest. Even though it’s unnecessary, you can hold onto The Skeleton Key forever if you want to make less progress in the Thieves Guild questline.

#13: Skull of Corruption

Midway through the “Waking Nightmare” quest, you will be tasked with killing Erandur. If successful, you will receive the “Skull of Corruption.”The Skull of Corruption reduces 20 points of damage when worn.

To make this weapon more effective, you need to “charge up” with the dreams of others. For example, if you cast someone asleep, you can gather five dreams. However, it will be treated as an attack if you try to cast on someone awake.

#14: Spellbreaker

Spellbreaker Location

After completing “The Only Cure” quest, you will be rewarded with the Spellbreaker (Shield). This shield will lessen the 50 magic damage, not including the Dwarven ones.

#15: Volendrung

Volendrung Location

After completing “The Cursed Tribe” quest, you will be rewarded with the Volendrung (Hammer of Might). Every time this hammer hits an enemy, it drains 50 Stamina from them.

#16: Wabbajack

Wabbajack Location

After completing “The Cursed Tribe” quest, you will be rewarded with the Wabbajack (spell). The Wabbajack is an unpredictable spell that can have any of the following below-mentioned effects on enemies:

  • Turn Foes into Different Creatures
  • Destruction
  • Healing Enemies
