After a long wait, Serious Sam 4 is finally available and while the reviews are mixed, most seem to enjoy it. There are a total of 9 gadgets in Serious Sam 4. You can unlock gadgets by spending the points you earn from playing the game. The following are all the gadgets you will find in Serious Sam 4 and how they affect your gameplay.

L.I.F.E

Use this gadget to boost your HP in Serious Sam 4.

Black Hole

Create a black hole that sucks in enemies.

Rage Serum

The effect of Rage Rerum is similar to Kratos’ Spartan Rage. Your character enters a euphoric rage which makes him stronger, faster, and more agile. You will also get damage resistance.

Holodecoy

Deploy a decoy that distracts enemies and makes them fire at the decoy.

Time Warp

Create an area of effect that slows down enemies making them easy targets.

Hacked Drone

Deploy a drone that follows you around, fires at enemies until the battery runs out.

Psychotropic Grenade

This grenade as a psychological effect that makes enemies turn on each other.

Mini-Nuke

Deploy a powerful ground to ground missile.

H.E.A.R.T

Use the Heart Gadgets for self revive.

As you can see, there are many great gadgets available to you in Serious Sam 4. However, the best ones are a few. Get the ones that help you out the most and compliment your playstyle. We recommend getting H.E.A.R.T for self revives, especially you’re playing on higher difficulties. Enemies get highly aggressive to higher difficulties so you will go down quite a lot.

Another best gadget suggestion from us is Time Warp. Hard to beat and aggressive enemies can be slowed down using the Time Warp which gives you an opportunity to do a lot of damage. Meanwhile, Black Hole is perfect for sucking adds and clearing the area to create a breathing room for yourself.
