Destiny 2: Season of Plunder Week 9 Challenges Guide

Share

While the Season of Plunder is far from over, the final week of Seasonal Challenges is here. This means that people who have been keeping up with Seasonal Challenges will be able to claim the Large Pile of Bright Dust (4,000) even if they left a few from the earlier weeks. In addition to Bright Dust, you will also be able to get one Trials Weapon, Repute to max out your Star Chart rank, and some XP to increase your Artifact Bonus. This guide should help you easily complete all the Week 9 Seasonal Challenges in Destiny 2: Season of Plunder.

You should not have a hard time when it comes to Seasonal Challenges for Week 9 of the Season of Plunder. You will need to defeat enemies while they are under the effects of Arc/Stasis, play a few matches of Trials of Osiris, run Expedition, etc. Below, we have provided some tips and tricks to help you complete these challenges easily:

Expert Expedition III
While playing Expedition, you will need to gather 50x Treasure and defeat 10x Ruffians. Collecting 50x Treasure should be simple enough. As for Ruffians, their spawns are time-based. We recommend that you wait for a Ruffian to appear before throwing all the Treasure at the cargo to make it move. You can stop at like 90% if you want and wait for the Ruffian to appear. You should be able to get 1-2 or even 3 Ruffians (if you are very lucky) per Expedition.

Seeker’s Cache III
You need to decipher the Large Treasure Beacon. Once done, you will also need to summon First Mates in Expedition and Ketchcrash.

Battery
This one requires you to defeat 150 enemies with Linear Fusion Rifles and 100 enemies while they are slowed with Stasis. You will also get bonus progress for doing so in Ketchcrash or against Guardians. You should consider equipping Arbalest alongside another Heavy LFR, throw a Duskfield Grenade on top of a group of enemies and defeat them with LFRs. Since you will be competing for kills with your teammates, we do not recommend doing this in Ketchcrash.

Armory-Wide Calibration
You need to defeat 200 enemies with Kinetic, Energy, and Power weapons. If you defeat Champions, you will get bonus progress. This one is as simple as it can get! You just need to equip your favorite weapons and slay.

Cold Lightning
You need to defeat 200 enemies under the effects of Arc/Stasis in Gambit. We definitely recommend using the Infinite Storm Grenades build on Titan or Liar’s Handshake build on Hunter for this one. As for Stasis, try to use Ager’s Scepter and freeze everything.

Trial by Firing Squad
You need to win 20 rounds in total in Trials of Osiris. This one, honestly, depends on your PvP prowess. If you do not enjoy the game mode but want to get it done, we recommend playing while the Freelance is active so that you do not get matched against stacked teams — this should make it a tad more bearable.

Arc Vanguard
You need to defeat 300 enemies under the effects of Arc/Stasis in the Vanguard playlist. We definitely recommend using Arc (Jolt) to get it done. Things like infinite Storm Grenades build on Titan, Liar’s Handshake build on Hunter, or Fallen Sunstar on Warlock can make it really easy. On top of all that, you can also use any weapon with Voltshot. If you prefer to use Stasis, you can use Ager’s Scepter with Bleak Watcher (Aspect) on Warlocks. Titans can also get a lot of abilities with HOIL.
