Ubisoft Connect 2.0 Client

Since the new Ubisoft games are available on Steam, most PC gamers are not going to be interested in switching over to Ubisoft Connect, but the company did launch Ubisoft+, which gives members access to a library of games for a monthly membership fee. This could be one of the reasons why Ubisoft is planning to revamp its client and make it more user-friendly.

Across the different screenshots, we see a shift toward the purple color. This might be theme new theme or color scheme that Ubisoft is going with, or it might be customizable. We do not know for sure at this time. What we can see is that across the board, the elements have been streamlined and do look much better. A major change that we see is that the menu has been moved from the top to the left.

The friends section also has a dark theme. This could change with the final release. The news section is now called latest and has a more streamlined design.

Ubisoft Connect 2.0 is in beta according to the screenshots, and we know that it is under NDA and is being rolled out to a couple of people. We do not know how long it is going to take for it to be released to the general public. Since this is under NDA, the leaker wants to remain anonymous. We can tell you that the person in question has been very accurate about other Ubisoft-related leaks and information.

  1. We just want the login function to work properly. Everyone is tired of Ubisoft and their low quality launcher (and low quality games too, but that’s another topic)
The login function has been bugged for years, it keeps logging out everytime you close a game, and you have to re-enter the e-mail and password, do the 2-step verification.. ‘Remember me’ and ‘Trusted device’ are not working at all. How hard can it be to fix it? They don’t even bother.. The way Ubisoft is going i think they will become worse than Konami

  2. This is an april fools joke, the images are just the Epic game Store with some minor editing in some of them (to add some purple elements and the word Uplay)
