How to Solve The Salazar Family Insignia Puzzle (Mausoleum Lantern Puzzle)

  1. Reach the Salazar Family Insignia Location: After making your way through the eerie mausoleum, you will arrive at the tomb of the Salazar family. Your goal here is to obtain a quest item.
  2. Place the Circle Lamp: You will notice three spots surrounding the central crypt where lamps can be placed. Begin by placing the lamp with a circle symbol (visible on the wall of the lamp) on the platform at the back of the crypt. This will allow you to take the lamp with the crescent moon.
  3. Swap the Crescent Moon Lamp: With the crescent moon lamp in hand, move to the right and swap it with the lamp on the left platform (when looking from the starting point). You will now have the lamp with a cross.
  4. Place the Cross Lamp: Proceed to the right platform (still looking from the starting point) and place the cross lamp there.
  5. Check the Lamp Placement: Ensure that you have positioned the lamps correctly:
    • Left of the entrance to the crypt – the lamp with a crescent moon
    • Behind the crypt – the lamp with a circle
    • Right of the entrance to the crypt – the lamp with a cross
  6. Enter the Crypt: If the lamps are placed correctly, the crypt will open, allowing you to enter and obtain the Salazar Family Insignia.
