Attaining the S-rank in Resident Evil 3 Remake is a tough task and will probably take a couple of playthroughs. You’ll need to learn the locations of enemies, key items, weapons, and other things. There are 2 things that affect the S-rank directly: the first one completion time and the second one being the number of save files used. At the end of the game, you’ll be awarded a grade reflective of your overall performance.
In the table below, I’ve provided a complete overview of everything you need to know about how to earn s-rank in RE3 Remake:
Resident Evil 3 Remake S-rank
Difficulty | Conditions |
Assisted | Complete the game within 02:30:00 and don’t save more than 5 times. |
Standard | Complete the game within 02:00:00 and don’t save more than 5 times. |
Hardcore | Complete the game within 01:45:00 and don’t save more than 5 times. |
Nightmare | Complete the game within 02:00:00 and don’t save more than 5 times. |
Inferno | Complete the game within 02:00:00 and don’t save more than 5 times. |
As you can see from the table, the completion time continues to drop with increasing difficulty. This particularly becomes troublesome on Inferno and Nightmare when enemies don’t die easy and ammunition is hard to come by. Keeping this in view, I won’t suggest anyone attempting it before you’ve completed the game at least 2-3 times.
