Mods To Make Remnant From The Ashes Even Better

The following are the Remnant From The Ashes Mods that you need to know about:

Killer (Texture Overhaul Cultist Duster)

This mod is a texture overhaul for the starting gear, Cultist Duster. The backpack has been changed to Black as well. You can check it out here.

Reshade

This mod adds a reshade preset that adds color correction, better HDR and sharpness. It does not oversaturate the image or distort the colors. The following are instructions on how you can install the mod:

  1. Simply place it in the Remnant\Binaries\Win64 folder where the game’s .exe is located (D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Remnant From The Ashes\Remnant\Binaries\Win64 ).
  2. Launch the ReShade Installer & select the game’s .exe (D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Remnant From The Ashes\Remnant\Binaries\Win64 )
  3. Select the game’s API – it is DX10+
  4. Click okay to download all the .fx files & click okay to install them
  5. ReShade should say Succeeded! Now, you can close the ReShade Installer.

If the fails to launch, crashes to desktop or your controller isn’t working you will need to rename the dxgi file to d3d11 it is located in the same folder you installed ReShade. If that does not work then you can try disabling the Steam overlay and see if that works.

No Backpack

This mod removes the backpack from your character. This mod will crash the game after killing Earth’s world boss or speaking to the keeper. In order to avoid this, temporarily disable the mod until teleporting to another world. In other words, do not have this mod active when on the Labyrinth. You can click here to download the mod.

No Hunter Necklace

This mod removes the necklace from the female hunter armor. If you think the necklace odd in cutscenes or just bad in general then you can use this mod to make things better. You can click here to download the mod.

No Shoulder Pauldrons Drifter Armor

This mod removes the shoulder pauldrons from the female drifter armor. The shoulder pieces can make the armor a bit bulky. If you do not like that feel free to use this mod. You can click here to download this mod.
