Remnant 2 is hard. There is no doubt about it. And this is why you will need all the help you can get. You can, of course, try co-op but even that will not last forever. Not until you upgrade Relics. These are reusable consumable items that provide different bonuses. Some of these effects are healing over time, insta-heal, no Stamina drain, and a temporary shield, among many others. It is important to note that Relics in their default form are certainly not suited for endgame which is why you need to upgrade them whenever possible. But how do you do that? In this Remnant 2 guide, we have detailed everything you need to know about easily upgrading Relics.
Remnant 2 Upgrading Relics
As mentioned earlier, there are over a dozen Relics in Remnant 2. The most important of these is the Dragon Heart which heals for a certain amount of HP over a few seconds. As you progress through the campaign, you will realize that it is an absolute lifesaver that you must upgrade to ensure your survival.
Upgrading your Relics in Remnant 2 is a straightforward process. To get started, you will need to find Wallace in Ward 13. You should be able to find him near the Docks, right next to the World Stone. You will need to visit Wallace to upgrade your Relics such as Dragon Heart if you have got the required materials. The most important of these materials is an item called Simulacrum.
Simulacrum is an incredibly rare material that you can find while exploring the different regions in Remnant 2. In our opinion, it is better to trade it for Scraps. You will need to speak to Cass in Ward 13 to do that – a Simulacrum for 1,500 Scraps.
Aside from Simulacrum and Scraps, you will also need some Lumenite Crystals which can be dropped by enemies. Once you have the required materials, return to Wallace to upgrade your Relics in Remnant 2.
Relic Fragments
Aside from upgrading your Relics, you can also imbue them with items called Relic Fragments. There are three types of RFs i.e. Blue, Yellow, and Red. When inserted into a Relic, these provide different bonuses. As you are exploring the world of Remnant 2, be sure to keep an eye out on different Relic Fragments as they can be pretty powerful!
