Remnant 2 Grey Health Explained

When you take damage, a part of your health bar turns grey. This is due to the regeneration mechanic in the game. Half of the damage that you take turns your health bar grey. The grey portion will regenerate over time but the rest is lost and will need to be topped up. The regeneration is slow but it is still nice to have passive health regeneration.

You can incorporate grey health into your build. There are items in the game that increase your damage depending on the grey portion of your health bar. You can also get additional utilities out of the mechanic and incorporate them into your build. Make the right build and you could get significant buffs for taking damage. That might take counter-intuitive but it can work.
