Rock Carvings Locations in Red Dead Redemption 2 are located at different areas of the map. Francis Sinclair will request you find them and send their coordinates to him via mail in the side mission “Geology for Beginners”.

Finding some Rock Carvings can be tough as they are located on mountain passes or narrow walkways on mountains, etc.

The following are the locations for the Rock Carvings in Red Dead Redemption 2:

Rock Carving #1
The first Rock Carving can be found on the end of the road on Mount Hagen in Grizzlies West.

Rock Carving #2
The second one can be found on Whinyard Straight near the “h” of Whinyard.

Rock Carving #3
The third one can be found west of Cumberland. While on top of the mountain get down using the pass to reach the carving.

The fourth one can be found at Bacchus Station. Go to the the top of the mountain and on your left is a way leading down to the carving.

The fifth one can be found on the plateau south of Moonstone Pond.

The sixth one can be found facing a road in Roanoke. An easy way to find it is to go to the west of “N” of Roanoke.

The seventh one can be found east of Elysian Pool south of Annesburg.

The eighth one can be found northwest of Flatneck Station near the top of the mountain.

The ninth one can be found on the “T” of West Elizabeth southeast of Mount Shann.

The last one can be found on the east side of Owanjila in Strawberry.
