EasyAntiCheat Error, Error 30005, Error 3500 Fix

Players are reporting that they are unable to play Hood Outlaws & Legends due to EasyAntiCheat Error, Error 30005, and error 3500. There are multiple reasons behind the EasyAntiCheat and other errors and here is how to fix them.

For the EasyAntiCheat error and Error 30005, go to Hood Outlaws and Legends install folder and delete the EasyAntiCheat.sys file in the EasyAntiCheat folder. Close Steam before deleting the file and then restart the PC afterward. Launch the game from Steam and the EasyAntiCheat error will be fixed.

Another fix for the EasyAntiCheat error is to verify game files. Steam will detect corrupt files and will download new ones to replace them. This will fix the error.

If the above fixes didn’t work or players are experiencing the error 3500 with the game, your anti-virus might be the culprit. Open Settings > Update & Security > Windows Security > Virus & Threat Protection > click “Manage Settings” under Virus & Threat Protection Settings > click “add or remove exclusions” under Exclusions. Browse and exclude both the easy anti-cheat folder and Hood: Outlaws & Legends’ install folder. After that, verify game files and the error will be fixed.

Reinstalling the latest C++ Redistributables both x86 and x64 versions can also fix the EasyAntiCheat error. Alternatively, open CMD and run it as administrator, type “sfc /scannow” and press enter. Let the scan run and it’ll repair any corrup[ted system files and will fix the EasyAntiCheat error.

Game Not Starting, Crash At Startup Fix

PC players are reporting that Hood: Outlaws & Legends is not launching or is crashing at startup. There are multiple reasons behind the Hood Outlaws and Legends crash at launch issue and here is how to fix it.

First, the game only supports Windows 10 64-bit. If you are using a 32-bit Win 10 or an old operating system, then you need to upgrade your OS to play the game. Also, if you haven’t updated your 64-bit OS, then update it as it’ll resolve the issue.

One reason why the game is crashing at startup or not launching is the DirectX 12. The game uses DX12 by default and players need to force DirectX 11 to fix the crash. Right-click Hood: Outlaws & Legends in Steam library > Properties > General tab > add ‘-dx11’ under Launch Options. Launch the game and it’ll run without crashing.

Right-click Hood: Outlaws & Legends in Steam > Manage > Browse Local Files. Launch the game directly from its exe. Most likely players will encounter an error similar to “vcruntime140_1.dll or MSVCP140.dll Was Not Found”. To fix the error, players need to the latest Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables both x64 and x86 versions. This will fix the error.

Your anti-virus/Windows Security might be blocking important game files and causing the crash at startup issue. Players can either disable real-time protection or exclude the game’s install folder from it. Open Settings > Update & Security > Windows Security > Virus & threat protection > click Manage Settings under “Virus & threat protection settings” > click “add or remove exclusions” under “Exclusions”. Browse to the Hood: Outlaws & Legends folder and add it. Then verify game files, launch the game, and it won’t crash at launch.

Crash Fix

According to PC players, Hood Outlaws & Legends is crashing during gameplay. There are multiple reasons behind the Hood: Outlaws & Legends in-game crash and here is how to fix it. Using, third-party tools and software can cause the game to crash. Disable any third-party software you have installed and also disable Steam overlay and Geforce Experience overlay. This will keep the game from crashing.

Another reason for the game to crash could be the GPU driver. Update the GPU driver and do a clean installation to fix the issue.

If the above fixes didn’t work, then your GPU is either overclocked or old. In case the GPU is overclocked then revert it back to its default GPU clock even if it’s factory overclocked. If the GPU is old, then use MSI Afterburner to reduce the GPU clock by 100 MHz. Those of you who don’t want to mess with the GPU clock, cap the game’s max FPS to 30. Open NviNvidia Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Program Settings > select the game. Turn on Max FPS Limit and set the value to 30. The game will be locked at 30 FPS, reducing CPU and GPU load. Launch the game it won’t crash while playing.

Stuttering, Low FPS Fix

Performance issues like Low FPS, stuttering and random FPS drops common among PC gamers and Hood Outlaws & Legends is no exception. Here is how to fix these issues.

First, make sure you have installed the latest GPU drivers and there no background process using too much CPU, GPU, or HDD.

If you are playing the game on a laptop, these performance issues might be occurring due to the game using the integrated GPU instead of the dedicated GPU. For Nvidia GPU, open Nvidia Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Program Settings > select the game > select “High-performance Nvidia processor” under preferred graphics option.

AMD GPU users need to open Radeon Settings > Preferences > Additional Settings > Power > Switchable Graphics Application Settings. Select the game and select the “High-Performance profile” to the game under Graphics Settings.

In case you are playing the game on a desktop PC, open Nvidia Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Program Settings > select the game and make the following changes.

Anti-aliasing-FXAA – “Off”
Anti-aliasing-Gamma Correction – “Off”
CUDA GPUs – “All”
Low Latency Mode – Ultra.
Set Power Management to “Prefer Maximum Performance”
Shader Cache – “On” only if you are using an HDD. Don’t need to enable it for an SSD.
Set Texture filtering – Quality to “High Performance”
Triple Buffering – “Off”
Set Vertical Sync to “Use the 3D application setting”

Apply these settings and players will see a noticeable improvement in performance.

Hood: Outlaws and Legends Stealth Guide

Hood Outlaws and Legends Stealth

Stealth is a big part of Hood: Outlaws and Legends. Most of the time it is best to use stealth rather than go all in heavy-handed. We have already discussed this in our tips and tricks guide, how stealth plays a big role. In this guide, we will discuss how to stay hidden and use stealth to your advantage in Hood: Outlaws and Legends.

Hood: Outlaws and Legends Stealth: How to Stay Hidden

Stealth depends on the type of map you are on currently. The stage is really important but there are some general tips on how to stay hidden in the game. For example, bushes are a great way to stay hidden in the game.

Bushes protect you from being spotted by enemy guards and also make it much easier for players to see you. It makes it harder for the AI as well as enemy players to see you. Hiding in bushes is much better than running around the map like a headless chicken.

Also, it is best to stay crouched as you move through the bush as standing makes you visible. If guards spot you the entire area will go into lockdown. Guard will come to your position.

Crouching is not only for bushes but in general, you should always be crouched while moving in Hood: Outlaws and Legends. You will make less noise while you’re crouched which means stealth is a given.

A great feature you can use in Hood: Outlaws and Legends is the tagging system. Work as a team to tag enemies so everyone knows where the guards are. Tagging highlights enemies on the map and marks their position and movement, allowing you to use stealth more effectively in Hood: Outlaws and Legends.

Hood: Outlaws and Legends Tips and Tricks For Successful Heists

Hood Outlaws and Legends Tips and Tricks

Hood: Outlaws and Legends is out now which means it is time to jump into those intense heists. To be successful in your adventure you need to be aware of a few tips and tricks. In this guide, let’s go through all Hood: Outlaws and Legends tips and tricks you need to pull of a successful heist.

Hood: Outlaws and Legends Tips and Tricks

Tip #1

While playing the heists be sure to sneak around whenever possible. Being seen means you will be marked for a short period of time and all outlaws on the map can see your position.

Tip #2

While you are hiding around, make sure to assassinate enemies instead of directly engaging them. Get behind enemies to trigger the assassination option.

Tip #3

You can use misdirection to your advantage in Hood: Outlaws and Legends. Throw rocks to distract a guard.

Tip #4

Working as a team is the best way to play this game. The minimum you can do is move in pairs. If one of you gets spotted the other one can quickly assassinate the guards, who also travel in pairs most of the time.

Tip #5

Tagging enemies is a great way to make sure your entire team knows where the guards are. It helps everyone sneak around and avoid being seen.

Tip #6

Inside your hideout, you can purchase perks that have a big impact on your gameplay style. Read about perks and what they do before picking them. Choose the ones that suit the best to your class.

Tip #7

If you see wooden holes with ropes around them shoot them with Robin or Marianne, the rope will fall down. The rope will drop down, allowing you to go up.

Tip #8

You need the Sherrif’s key to open the vault. He usually roams around the main keep of the map with his minions. Approach from behind and take his key.

Tip #9

Combat in Hood: Outlaws and Legends is all about timing your attacks. Timing your dodge, parries, and attacks. Spamming attacks won’t help in combat.

And that’s everything you need to know to get you up and running in Hood: Outlaws and Legends. Need more help? See The Mystic and The Brawler class guides.

Hood: Outlaws and Legends The Mystic Guide

Hood: Outlaws and Legends Mystic

Mystic can be considered the support character in Hood: Outlaws and Legends. It not only provides a lot of CC but can also heal teammates and has insane life-leech built into the kit. In this Hood: Outlaws and Legends guide, we’ve detailed all there’s to know about the Mystic, ability, trait, perks, and some general tips and tricks to use the character effectively.

Hood: Outlaws and Legends Mystic

Tooke’s weapon is a Flail. The heavy attacks from it can easily stun-lock enemies and is an incredible zoning tool should the team needs it. These attacks, however, consume a lot of stamina which is why it’s important not to spam them. Another way to constantly replenish stamina is through the trait called Respire which increases stamina regeneration by a lot.

The best thing about Tooke, however, is its ability called Instinct. This ability highlights all the enemies in an area but also heals teammates if they’re in close proximity. The healing effect also works when solo, therefore, don’t shy away from using it if needed! Lastly, Tooke’s also got Poison Grenades that not only blind enemies but also drain their stamina. This is best used before starting a fight or to throw away enemies from chasing.

One important thing to keep in mind though is that the Poison Grenade also drains Tooke’s stamina which is why it’s important to use the Pastoral Aid perk. As for the perks, these are outlined below:

Perk 1

Perk How to Unlock Effects
Unwavering Faith Rank 3 Tagging enemies provides XP and also reduces ability recharge rate.
Pastoral Aid Rank 5 This negates the negative effects of the gas. Winching chests is also faster but points are captured at a slower pace.
Deep Rooted Rank 6 The ability is able to discover targets at a large distance.
Innate Insight Rank 8 Gain full ability meter at the start of a game that also highlights crouched enemies while it’s active.

Perk 2

Perk How to Unlock Effects
Roaming Monk Rank 3 It increases the movement speed while crouching/sprinting. Allies also benefit from it.
Enhanced Elixir Rank 5
Suffocating Balm Rank 7 Gas drains enemy stamina quicker.
Medicinal Potion Rank 9 Gas doesn’t drain stamina but heals teammates instead.

Perk 3

Perk How to Unlock Effects
Sustained Growth Rank 4 Light attacks deal more damage but also cost more stamina.
Harrowed Scar Rank 8 It deals increased melee damage while at full HP.
Vampiric Bludgeon Rank 10 A portion of melee damage dealt to enemies is recouped as HP.

This is all we’ve got in our Hood: Outlaws and Legends Mystic guide. Feel free to check out our detailed Hood: Outlaws and Legends wiki guides for more help on the game.

Hood: Outlaws and Legends The Brawler Guide

Hood: Outlaws and Legends The Brawler Guide

As the main tank of the team, the Brawler is always going to remain at the frontline. This brute can take hits and his damage potential is nothing to scoff at. In this Hood: Outlaws and Legends guide, we’ve detailed everything there’s to know about the Brawler (John), its perks, trait, ability, and some general tips.

Hood: Outlaws and Legends Brawler

The Brawler in Hood: Outlaws and Legends is the main tank. It can take up a lot of damage and is ideal when it comes to holding zones.

Since he can winch chests a lot faster than anyone else, John is the perfect choice for the job. In addition to this, John also has access to the Resolute. With this trait, he’s able to lift portcullis gates, opening up new routes and giving his team a chance to get in and out of an area fairly quickly.

With his Wrath ability, John is able to soak up even more damage while increasing his own. The ability, however, should only be used when absolutely necessary. Wasting it can harm the team in a long run.

Lastly, when it comes to his gear. He’s got access to a Hammer that can do sweep and overhead attacks – both are deadly for clearing out enemies rather quickly. In addition to this, John also has access to explosives that can’t only clear out an entire group of enemies at once but is also ideal for blocking off paths while his team runs away with the loot.

As for John’s perk pool, these include the following:

Perk 1

Perk How to Unlock Effects
Dying Retaliation Rank 2 Heavy attacks can be performed much faster when on low HP. Killing enemy players grant additional XP.
Warcry Rank 4 While active, deal more damage to guards and gain damage reduction against State Guard.
Surging Smash Rank 7 Sprint attacks deal more damage but also consume more stamina while the ability is inactive.
Charging Assault Rank 9 Sprinting gets increased duration and speed.

Perk 2

Perk How to Unlock Effects
Stable Tank Rank 3 Increases total HP and consumes less stamina while blocking.
Sticky Explosive Rank 8 Gear can be thrown at large distances and sticks to surfaces.
Amplified Explosives Rank 10 It increases gear capacity and damage radius.
Cargo Carrier Rank 10 Carrying the chest is a lot faster but it also makes more noise. Dropping the chest also spills more gold. Winching the chest is also faster but at the cost of slow capture rate.

Perk 3

Perk How to Unlock Effects
Enraged Infusion Rank 4 Increased light attack damage but the ability meter recharges much slower.
Relentless Strength Rank 5 Parrying projectiles and taking damage refills the ability meter – blocking doesn’t benefit from the effect.
Rampaging Onslaught Rank 10 Ability meter recharges at a much faster rate by killing enemy players. However, it completely resets upon death.

How to Beat Heisenberg in Resident Evil Village

How to Beat Heisenberg in Resident Evil Village

You may think the giant vampire lady is the toughest and biggest boss you face in Resident Evil Village. However, that is not the case at all. The boss fight with Heisenberg is much more annoying and challenging. In this guide, we will discuss everything you need to know to beat Heisenberg in Resident Evil Village.

Resident Evil Village Heisenberg Boss Fight

Heisenberg is tough enough as is he but when he turned into his true monster self, that’s when he makes you question life choices. He transforms into a monster that makes you shake in your boots.

You need to be very well-equipped to beat Heisenberg. The boss fight with Heisenberg basically has three phases and each tougher than the last.

Phase #1

The first phase is when Heisenberg takes the most damage. During the first phase, it is best to keep your distance and attack with the machine gun (if you have one). Focus on targeting his head.

He will often use a shield to protect himself so instead of wasting your ammo on the shield, walk around to look for an opening to attack.

Phase #2

During the second phase of the Heisenberg boss fight, you will be attacked by projectiles. Avoid getting hit and if you have the missile launcher, it is time to use it on Heisenberg. Do enough damage to make him bring back his shield which would mean that the final phase of the boss fight is about to begin.

Phase #3

In the third and final phase of the boss fight, he will use his giant melee weapon after the cutscene ends. During the final boss fight, the only weapons you will have are your own so it is best to be prepared before the boss fight. Use the barrels to cover yourself but keep in mind that all covers will be destroyed at one point. Shotguns is the best weapon against him and if you can kill him before the covers are destroyed, life will be much easier.

And that’s everything you need to know on how to kill Karl Heisenberg in Resident Evil Village. Need more help? See windows locations, masks locations, files locations, Urias boss fight, Lady Dimitrescu boss fight.
