How to Upgrade Vendors and Merchants in Tribes of Midgard

How to Upgrade Vendors and Merchants in Tribes of Midgard

The progression system of Tribes of Midgard can be a bit overwhelming since you not only have to upgrade your character but also upgrade NPCs such as craftsmen and vendors. In this guide, we will discuss everything you need to know on how to upgrade Vendors and Merchants in the Tribes of Midgard.

Tribes of Midgard: How to Upgrade Vendors and Merchants

It is crucial to your overall progression to upgrade NPCs. Otherwise, you won’t be able to get the best weapons and armor sets from craftsmen. A secondary benefit of upgrading NPCs is the boost in combat efficiency they get.

You need to gather Souls to upgrade NPCs in the game. Go to the NPC you want to upgrade and interact with them which allows you to increase their level with Souls.

The first upgrade is cheaper compared to the following levels. The cost gradually goes up with each level. Visit our Souls farming guide for tips on how to get more Souls.

You can survive without upgrading NPCs to higher levels but it is best to get them to level 2 at least.

And that’s everything you need to know on how to upgrade NPCs. Need more help? See increasing power levels, repairing weapons, unlocking all classes.

Which Faction Should You Choose in New World

Which Faction Should You Choose in New World

Factions are the teams or organizations that you will need to join in New World. You need to choose a faction for yourself after you have reached level 12. There’s also an option to not select any faction. This guide goes through all the things you need to know about choosing a faction in New World.

Best Faction in New World

There are three factions in New World that you can join and undermine other factions and fight against them and lead your faction. The three factions are The Syndicate, The Marauders, and The Covenant.

The Syndicate

The Syndicate is a discovering faction and they want to gain knowledge of what lies behind each secret of the world. The most advanced faction is this Syndicate. Always on the hunt for the forbidden knowledge that is locked away in the farthest corners of the world. This faction wants to lead in the new age of illumination and knowledge.

The Covenant

The Covenant is an organized and structured but fanatical faction, and their whole purpose is to cleanse the world of Aeternum of defilers and heretics. The Covenant just has to raise its flag to the top and prosper the holy nature of Aeternum.

The Marauders

The Marauders is more like a structured and military-composed faction. Marauders want to forge a new world out of the existing one, to make the people who have the strength and are strong can benefit from and live a prosperous life.

All in all, all these factions are to a certain degree similar to each other, if taken out their individual lore. There are no answers to which is the best faction. There are some exclusive activities and some other specialties that are bound to one faction and not to the others, but these things come into play in the higher levels of the game.

How to Sell Junk in New World

How to Sell Junk in New World

Junk is a resource item in New World. You acquire junk by completing quests and from quest donors. Junk is the items that you no longer need and the items that are too low for your level, these items become junk. This is a complete guide on junk and how to sell it in New World.

Sell Junk in New World

The junk you have got in your inventory can be sold to a scrap supplier, however, the location of a scrap supplier is currently unknown. You also have an option to destroy the junk or salvage it to gain some resources from it.

Resources gained are dependent on what item you are destroying or salvaging. You will get certain useful resources upon destroying the junk items in your inventory, and if you are lucky enough you might get money from these items.

If you destroy or salvage a common item, you will only gain a couple of resources or a small amount of cash from them. Destroying and salvaging an uncommon or rare item will reward you with a few useful items and all the items that you once used will become junk when you reach higher levels.

These junk items will be useful to get some essential items by destroying them and using the new items. You might also build a crafting project using all the new items.

This was everything that you needed to know about selling junk in New World. For more help on the game, feel free to check out our detailed New World wiki page.
