Get to Vinland in Assassin's Creed Valhalla

Vinland is one of the locations you can visit in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Unfortunately, many of you are having a hard time figuring out how to get to Vinland in AC Valhalla. The good news is that the process of getting to Vinland is pretty simple, the bad news? It takes a long time to get to Vinland. In this guide, you will find everything you need to know on how to get to Vinland in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: How to Get to Vinland

There is a lot that goes into getting yourself to Vinland. First, you need to kill 6 members of Order of the Ancients. You can go after Wardens of Wealth, Wardens of War, Wardens of Law, and Zealots. You can visit any of the linked guides to get clues and locations of Order members. Once you get the required number of kills, you will get the “In a Strange Land” quest.

Head over to the Assassin’s Bureau to meet up with Haytham in Raventhorpe settlement. Haytham wants you to speak with Randvi about going to Vinland where an Order member is hiding.

Go to the Alliance map to speak with Randvi in the Raventhorpe settlement longhouse. When you scroll down the England map you will see Vinland. Start a pledge contract to Vinland.

You then must visit the Raventhorpe docks where Nessa is waiting for you. Speak with Nessa and she will explain why you need to leave your current gear and weapons behind before going to Vinland.

A quick cutscene will trigger and you’ll find yourself in Vinland.

And that’s all you need to know on how to get to Vinland in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

Best 4K TVs For Xbox Series X And PS5

Best 4K TVs PS5

The next-generation consoles namely the PS5 and Xbox Series X require a better TV with HDMI 2.1 support. This enabled displays to hit those higher frame rates and higher resolutions. the PS5 and Xbox Series X promise up to 8K resolution and 120 FPS. But both do not go hand in hand. You can either pick the higher resolution of the higher frame rate. That makes 4K TVs the sweet spot for the PS5 and Xbox Series X.

With the introduction of the next-generation of consoles, several TV makers have announced TVs with support for HDMI 2.1. We are going to limit our recommendations to 4K TVs in this article as 4K 60 FPS is going to be the sweet spot for the PS5 and the Xbox Series X. Not to mention that the 8K TVs that are available on the market right now are not what you would call cheap and are not going to be affordable for the majority of the public. Here we are going to look at some of the best 4K TVs that you can buy for the Xbox Series X and PS5.

Best 4K TVs For Xbox Series X And PS5

The following are some of the best 4K TVs with next-generation features such as HDMI 2.1 that you can buy right now:

LG CX 65″ 4K Smart OLED TV (Best High-End TV For PS5 And XSX)

This is an OLED display so you get those deep blacks and intense immersive colors when gaming or consuming content. This is a really thin display with very narrow bezels which makes it really appealing to look at and also increases immersion when playing games or watching something.

This display is G-Sync compatible if you are interested in hooking it up with your PC as well, which makes it the ultimate TV for gaming. The stand is made of metal which makes it really solid and feels premium. The contrast is the major selling point of OLED TVs and that is something that you really need to experience in-person to see the actual benefit and the visual improvements.

LG CX 65" 4K Smart OLED TV

The TV has a couple of USB 2.0 ports, HDMI 2.1, HDCP 2.2, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity and even ethernet. The display supports Dolby Vision and with HDMI 2.1 you can hit 4K 120 FPS in games that are optimized to hit that higher resolution and frame rate.

TCL 65″ 6-Series 4K QLED Smart TV (Best Budget TV For PS5 And XSX)

This TCL TV is also very thin and while it does have a bit of a chin the bezels are pretty thin. I have the same series model but in a smaller size at home and have been using it for a while now without having any issues. For the price, this is a great option to consider as it has a very competitive price tag as compared to the other models that we have on this list.

This is a QLED that used Quantum Dot technology and features HDR. THX Certified Gaming Mode ensures improved response time and reduces input lag. I was able to play Destiny 2 at 4K 60 FPS on my gaming PC. Note that this display does not feature HDMI 2.1 and that is why it cannot hit 4K 120 FPS.

TCL 65" 6-Series 4K QLED Smart TV

That might not be a deal-breaker for everyone. Note that not all PS5 and Xbox Series X games are going to hit 4K 120 FPS natively. I imagine that only a few of them will be able to hit that level of performance. If you are fine with 4K 60 FPS, which I for one have no issues with, then this is an option that you should consider. If HDMI 2.1 is something that you really want in order to hit 4K 120 FPS then there are other options but they all come at a higher cost.

Sony X900H 65” 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV (Best Mid-Range TV For PS5 And XSX)

The Sony X900H is another great looking TV that comes with narrow bezels and has a really slim design. It is going to look really good mounted but you can have it on a table as well. The TV features AndroidTV so you can use different apps such as YouTube and Netflix to watch content on it without having to connect other devices to it.

The TV is also compatible with Alexa so you can use the digital assistant to power the TV on and off and you can use other voice commands to play something that you are interested in watching or listening to.

Best 4K TVs PS5

This TV does have HDMI 2.1 so you can hit 4K 120 FPS in games that support it on the Xbox Series X, PS5 or PC.

Samsung 65″ 4K Ultra High Definition Smart QLED TV

Samsung is known for making some of the best displays in the business and this TV is no exception. Not only does it have a slim design and narrow bezels, but it also has a really cool stand that gives it a floating look. This is one of the higher-end models that Samsung has to offer right now.

This is not an OLED TV but it does have Quantum Dot technology so you do get vivid colors that increase the immersion when playing games. The appeal of the TV is real and it looks really clean even when it is turned off. The stand is pretty small so you can have this pretty large display on a smaller table as compared to some other models.

Best 4K TVs PS5

HDMI 4 is that one that is 2.1 which enables it to output 4K 120 FPS with variable refresh rate via FreeSync. G-Sync might be a feature on the device later on and cannot to ruled out at this point. The operating system is similar to the previous ones and Bixbi and Alexa are built-in. The menus are great to use and navigate but the navigation is not as smooth as we would like. The sound is better than the previous version but adding a sound bar is going to go a long way.

These are some of the best 4K TVs that we can recommend for the PS5 and Xbox Series X.

How to Defeat Atraks-1 in Destiny 2 Deep Stone Crypt Raid

How to Defeat Atraks-1 in Destiny 2 Deep Stone Crypt Raid

The objective of Clarity Control is to identify the real Atraks-1 and defeating her. This is done by juggling the ‘Scanner’ augment between the two areas of the encounter (Space and Crypt) through various Augmentation Station present in both areas.

To travel between Space and Crypt, you can use 4 elevators at the end of the room – remember that the player with the ‘Operator’ augment can call them up/down using the keypads right next to them. With the help of this Destiny 2 guide, you’ll be able to learn all about the Clarity Control encounter to defeat Atraks-1 in the Deep Stone Crypt raid.

Destiny 2 Deep Stone Crypt – How to Defeat Atraks-1

After starting the encounter, divide into 2 teams of 3 – send one team to Space and let one team stay in the Crypt. Try to run the following weapons, subclasses for the most optimal DPS:

  • 1x Hunter with Shadowshot, 2x Warlocks with Well of Riddance and Phoenix Protocol, 1x Titan with Ward of Dawn
  • Witherhoard, Izanagi’s Burden, Long Shadow, or Anything
  • IKELOS SMG, Martyr’s Retribution, IKELOS Sniper
  • 6x Lament

Similar to the previous encounter, let’s talk about the steps through which the Clarity Control encounter plays out:

  1. Walk to the orb in front of the elevator to begin the encounter and clear the area. Kill the Operator Vandal to grab the ‘Operator’ augmentation and also kill 3 Servitors that spawn.
  2. Now let 4 players go into Space and clear the area. Let one player grab the ‘Scanner’ augmentation dropped by a Hacker Vandal. The player with the ‘Scanner’ augment needs to see which of Atraks-1 clone is glowing and gather around it to start the DPS.
Make sure that tether the boss, place a Ward of Dawn, and Well of Riddance before going in with 6x Lament. To deal the ideal DPS, charge the Lament, land 3 Light Attack, and then a Heavy Attack.
  3. Once done, let one player (not the Scanner or Operator) grab the Atraks-1 Replication debuff. The player with the ‘Scanner’ augment needs to pass it through the Augmentation Station to the only player in the Crypt. Once done, all 4 players (including the players with the ‘Operator’ augment and Atraks-1 Replication debuff) need to go back to the Crypt.
  4. By this time, the player with the ‘Scanner’ augment below should already have identified the real Atraks-1 that need to be DPS-ed. Do the same strategy as above. If everything goes correctly, all 6 players need to head to Space – remember that the Operator can send the lifts back.
  5. Another thing that the ‘Operator’ needs to do is to shoot the guy with the Atraks-1 Replication debuff to refresh the timer of the debuff, otherwise, the entire team will wipe.
  6. Once all 6 players are in the Space, let the ‘Scanner’ identify the real Atraks-1 that needs to be DPS-ed and continue to repeat the process until she’s dead.

We hope the guide helped you one-phase Atraks-1 in the Deep Stone Crypt raid in Destiny 2. For more help on the game, you can check out our detailed Destiny 2: Beyond Light wiki guides.

Destiny 2 Deep Stone Crypt Raid Guide – How to Disable Crypt Security, Restricted Encounter

Destiny 2 Deep Stone Crypt Raid Guide – How to Disable Crypt Security, Restricted Encounter

The objective of the encounter is to disable the Crypt Security by destroying 6 tubes – 3 in each room. You can’t, however, destroy any tube you want. One player in the fireteam will guide you in which order the tubes must be destroyed. With the help of this Destiny 2 guide, you’ll be able to learn all about how the Restricted encounter works in the Deep Stone Crypt raid that should allow you to disable the Crypt Security.

How to Disable Crypt Security in Destiny 2 Deep Stone Crypt Raid

The room is divided into 3 sections i.e. light area, dark area, basement. There is also a small airlock area at the end of the room that lets you travel between the two areas and also provides access to the basement. To access the area, you’ll need to activate the keypads by shooting or melee-ing them but this can only be done if you’ve got the ‘Operator’ augmentation. One important thing to keep in mind is if there’s another player with the Operator inside the airlock, he won’t be able to access the basement area – this must be done by the Operator alone.

There is also a door in the middle that lets you travel between the light and dark but is only open before the encounter begins or during the DPS phase when you need to destroy the tubes.

Both areas (light and dark) also have 4 pillars with glass panes underneath that you see in the basement area. There are also 3 Augmentation Terminals in the room – one in each section of the room. You’ll also notice a total of 10 keypads in the basement – 5 on the left side and 5 on the right side. Now that we’re done with the layout of the room, let’s talk about how the encounter works and the recommended weapons.

Recommended Weapons/Subclasses

  • 2x Well of Riddance, 1x Ward of Dawn
  • Witherhoard, Auto Rifle with Overload Rounds
  • Fourth Horseman, FILO, Bonechiller, Auto Rifle with Overloads Rounds
  • One Thousand Voices, Xenophage, The Lament, Legend of Acrius

Disabling the Crypt Security

To make it easier, I think it’s better to outline the entire mechanic in steps as provided below:

  1. After rallying to the flag, divide into 2 teams of 3 and send them to their areas. To start the encounter, let one player grab the ‘Operator’ augmentation from one of the Augmentation Stations.
  2. Continue to clear enemies until you see a Hacker Vandal in the dark area which will drop the ‘Scanner’ augmentation. One player needs to pick it up and check all the window panes under the pillars to see which keypads in the basement are glowing. You can number them however you want to write them down.
  3. Once done, pass the ‘Scanner’ augmentation to the other area using the Augmentation Station. If you’re unable to do so, make sure there aren’t any Servitors alive in both the areas. Once all the Servitors are down, pass the ‘Scanner’ augmentation and let one player take it and repeat the same thing.
  4. Once you know about all 4 keypads, let the ‘Operator’ head into the basement and shoot all 4 keypads in quick succession. Remember that the ‘Operator’ will only have 60 seconds to shoot all 4 keypads while also clearing a few enemies. Shooting a wrong keypad will kill the basement guy and you’ll need to send another one with the ‘Operator’ augmentation down.
  5. After the correct 4 keypads have been shot, the ‘Operator’ will send the ‘Operator’ augmentation buff to the players above and receive the ‘Scanner’ augmentation in return.
  6. Now the ‘Scanner’ below will look at the top sides (left and right) of the Augmentation Station in the basement to see which tube is glowing and need to be damaged by the players above. The players above will have a brief while to shoot all the tubes before they shut down – place Ward of Dawn and Well of Riddance to destroy them ASAP.
  7. Ideally, it shouldn’t take more than a single damage cycle to destroy all the tubes if you’re using the Fourth Horsemen and other slug shotties. If you’re unable to do so, let the ‘Operative’ above open the basement door so that the guy down can head back up and avoid the wipe mechanic down below.

After destroying all 6 tubes, head over to the dark area, grab the loot and proceed forward. It’s time to defeat Atraks-1.

That’s all we’ve got on how to disable the Crypt Security in Destiny 2 Deep Stone Crypt raid to complete the Restricted encounter. For more help on the game, you can check out our Destiny 2: Beyond Light wiki guides.

Football Manager 2021 PC is facing errors and issues like the in-game crash, OS Error 4294956471, crash at startup, DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_Removed, unable to initialize Steam API, and more. Here I have compiled a list of errors and issues with the game along with their fixes and workarounds.

Football Manager 2021 Error 4294956471 And Fixes

Football Manager 2021 is the latest entry on the long-running franchise. The game brings a lot of improvements to the formula but stays true to its essence.

However, PC players are reporting errors and issues with Football Manager 2021 like OS Error 4294956471, crash at startup, DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_Removed, Unable To initialize Steam API, and more.

The following are the errors and issues that Football Manager 2021 PC players are experiencing along with their fixes and workarounds.

OS Error 4294956471 Fix

According to players, they are unable to play Football Manage 2021 on Mac OS as they are getting the OS Error 4294956471. Here is how to fix it.

First, start the terminal by going to Applications > Utiltites > double click Terminal. Enter the following command and press return.

cd Library/Application\ Support/Steam/steamapps/common

Type the following command, press enter and it’ll list all the installed games one of which will be Football Manager 2021.

ls

Enter the following command and press enter. Note, replace the “Football Manager 2021” with the exact folder name you get in the step above.

cd “Football Manager 2021/Football Manager 2021.app/Contents/MacOS”

Then type the following command and press enter.

./”Football Manager 2021”

This will fix the OS Error 4294956471 and players will be able to play Football Manager 2021 without any issue. However, doing it every time can be tedious, the following command will make a shortcut that will launch Football Manager 2021 without OS Error 4294956471.

ln -s “/Volumes/Geode/Shared/Steam/steamapps/common/Football Manager 2021/Football Manager 2021.app/Contents/MacOS/Football Manager 2021” ~/Desktop/

This will fix the OS Error 4294956471 with the game.

Crash Fix

Football Manager 2021 PC players are reporting that the game is crashing randomly while playing. Here is how to fix the Football Manager 2021 crash issue.

One reason for the game to crash is the use of third-party monitoring tools like MSI Afterburner or RGB control software. Disable any third-party software you are using along with Steam overlay and GeForce Experience overlay. This will fix the in-game crash issue.

Another reason for Football Manager 2021 to crash in-game could be the GPU. Either the GPU is overclocked or is old. if the GPU is overclocked, then revert it back to its default GPU clock even if it’s factory overclocked.

If the GPU is old or you don’t want to mess with the GPU clock, limit the game’s FPS to reduce the GPU and CPU load. Open Nvidia Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Program Settings > select Football Manager 2021. Turn on Max FPS Limit and set the value to 30. The game will be locked at 30 FPS and won’t crash anymore.

DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_Removed Fix

According to Football Manager 2021 players, they are unable to enjoy the game as it crashes while playing and they get the “Football Manager 2021” error.

First, try updating the GPU driver and if you have an updated driver, reinstall it and do a clean installation. In case the error is still occurring, update DirectX.

The most common reason behind the “DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_Removed” error is GPU itself. Either the GPU is overclocked or is old. if the GPU is overclocked, then revert it back to its default GPU clock even if it’s factory overclocked. In case the GPU is old, use MSI Afterburner to reduce the GPU clock by 100 Mhz and it’ll fix the error.

If messing with the GPU clock isn’t your style, then try capping the Max FPS for the game. If you are playing at an unlocked FPS, limited the game to 60 FPS. In case you are playing the game at 60 FPS, limit the FPS to 30. Open Nvidia Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Program Settings > select Football Manager 2021. Turn on Max FPS Limit and set the value to 30. This will lock Football Manager 2021 to 30 FPS which will reduce the CPU and GPU load and it won’t crash anymore with the “DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_Removed” error.

Unable To Initialize Steam API Fix

This is another error that PC players are experiencing while playing Football Manager 2021. One reason behind this error could be that the Windows account you are using doesn’t have administrative rights. Switch to an account that has the administrative rights and the issue will be resolved.

If you are using an administrator account then the culprit might be Windows Defender or anti-virus software that you have installed. Either disable the anti-virus or make an exception for the game’s folder and the error will be fixed.

Game Not Starting, Crash At Startup Fix

A lot of Football Manager 2021 PC players are reporting that the game is crashing at startup or not launching at all. There are a number of reasons behind the Football Manager 2021 crash at launch issue and here are the fixes.

One reason for the game to crash at launch could be the lack of admin rights. Right-click on the game’s exe > Properties > Compatibility tab > check “run this program as an administrator” and hit apply. This will fix the error.

Your anti-virus/Windows Security might be blocking important game files and causing it to crash. Either disable real-time protection or exclude the Football Manager 2021’s install folder from it. This will fix the crash at launch issue.

If the issue persists, go to your Steam Library > right-click Football Manager 2021 > Properties > Local Files tab > click Browse Local Files. This will open the folder where the game is installed. Launch the game directly from the game’s exe. Chances are, players will get an error similar to “vcruntime140_1.dll or MSVCP140.dll Was Not Found”. If that’s the case, fix it by installing the latest Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables both x64 and x86 versions. This will fix the crash at launch issue with Football Manager 2021.

That is all for our Football Manager 2021 fixes for errors and issues like OS Error 4294956471, in-game crash, DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_Removed, crash at startup, and more. How to Complete Not a Scratch Triumph in Destiny 2 Deep Stone Crypt Raid for Retrocausality Exotic Sparrow

How to Complete Not a Scratch Triumph in Destiny 2 Deep Stone Crypt Raid for Retrocausality Exotic Sparrow

To get the Retrocausality exotic sparrow in the Deep Stone Crypt raid, you need to complete the ‘Not a Scratch’ triumph. It needs to be done during the ‘Desolation’ encounter that requires you to locate the Deep Stone Crypt. The triumph requires you to bring all Pikes from the starting heat bubble to the final heat bubble. Read on to learn how to complete the triumph and get the Retrocausality exotic sparrow from the DSC raid very easily.

Unlocking the Retrocausality Exotic Sparrow in Deep Stone Crypt Raid

Before we begin, do note that the triumph can’t be completed solo. While you can kill all the enemies in the area and bring all Pikes from the first heat bubble to the last one, the triumph won’t unlock unless there are 6 players on the Pikes in the final heat bubble.

There is, however, a very easy to complete it. If you already know how the encounter works, check the last heading of the guide.

How to Complete Desolation

The objective of Desolation is to locate the Deep Stone Crypt. This requires you to progress through the blizzard, whether on Pikes or Sparrows, which will build up stacks of Frostbite. At 10 stacks, you’ll die.

To reduce these stacks, you’ll need to get inside the heat bubbles located all around the area. You’ll basically need to travel from one heat bubble to the other while killing enemies to progress ahead.

If one or more of your teammates are unable to find their way forward, you can use ‘Transmat’ inside a heat bubble to get to the previous ones. At the very end, you’ll need to deal with a couple of Brigs and enter the tunnel leading to the Deep Stone Crypt. You’ll also need to be wary of minefields on the ground that will slow you down.

How to Complete Not a Scratch Triumph

As of right now, there’s an easy way to complete the triumph. After you get to the first heat bubble, park your Sparrow/Pike just outside the heat bubble and get a few stacks of Frostbite. Now head inside the heat bubble, and hop onto Sparrow/Pike while standing inside the heat bubble.

By doing so, you won’t take any Frostbite stacks while out in the blizzard. Now all you need to do is to get on a Pike and go all the way to the end. Just remember not to head inside any of the other heat bubbles. Once you get to the last heat bubble, try to park your Pikes somewhere safe and clear the area before hopping onto them again and get to the final bubble.

If you’re confident enough, you can also get all 6 Pikes to the final heat bubble yourself and then ask 5 random players to you.

That’s how you can complete ‘Not a Scratch’ triumph in Destiny 2: Beyond Light Deep Stone Crypt raid to get Retrocausality exotic sparrow. For more help on the game, you can check out our detailed Destiny 2 wiki guides.
