Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Picnics Guide: Activities, Increase Bond, How to Picnic

Recently, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet were launched for Nintendo Switch players. These new games come with old and brand-new Pokemon, which is pretty exciting! The latest installment requires you to conquer the Paldea region, where you can explore, catch new Pokemon, train them for battle, and have picnics with your Pokemon when things cool down.

If you’re a fan of Pokemon and have played previous versions like Sword and Shield, then you’ll remember the Camp option. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s Picnics work the same way as Camp did in older games.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Picnics Explained

Picnics are technically a new feature that allows you to connect with Pokemon and strengthen your bond. As a result, your Pokemon will be stronger, and their stats will improve as you will earn Exp. For starting the Picnics, there are two requirements:

  • Finding Flat surface
  • Setting up a Camp

What Activities Should You Do On Picnics

Below I’ve mentioned the Picnics Activities:

  • Bathing
  • Make Sandwiches
  • Inviting Friends
  • Pokemon Eggs

Not only will bathing your Pokemon cleans them, but it will also heal their battle wounds. Furthermore, they will gain health, and the friendship bond between you two will become stronger.

Make Sandwiches

You must make sandwiches for the party members on a picnic. The type of sandwich will determine the number of health points (HP) and special effects they receive. To get Picnic-perfect sandwiches, use the best recipes and ingredients available. You can even visit the nearest town to get these high-quality items.

Inviting Friends

With Poke Portal, you can invite your friends’ trainers to the picnics at Union Circle.

Pokemon Eggs

Keep an eye on the basket when you’re on a picnic – there’s a chance you might find some Pokemon eggs inside. Of course, it depends on what type of Pokemon is at your party.

That’s everything you need to know on how to do picnics. Need more help? Here are some more guides you may like:
