How to Hyper Train in Pokemon: Scarlet and Violet


In Pokemon: Scarlet and Violet, you take down enemies, go on quests, participate in raids, and much more. As you advance in the game, the opponents will become stronger, therefore, it is crucial to level up your team if you want to have any chance against them. Thus, it is evident that your Pokemon undergo different types of training, but one method in particular: Hyper Training. It is considered the most efficient way to make your team stronger. In this guide, I’ll tell you how you can Hyper Train your Pokemon in Pokemon: Scarlet and Violet.

One thing you need before starting Hyper Training is Bottle Caps. You might be wondering how the Bottle Caps — they hold a currency that you need for the Hyper Training. The Bottle Caps can be different with different effects. For example, the Gold Caps will have different effects from the Silver ones. Follow the steps below to get a Bottle Cap:

  1. You will need to beat six Gym Leaders and then go to the shop called Delibird Presents. The caps that you want will cost you 20,000 Pokedollars.
  2. After you finish the Higher Tera or Four-Star Raids, you will receive the Bottle Caps.
  3. Head to the Porto Marinada Auctions to purchase Cottle Caps.
  4. Taking part in the Academy Ace Tournament.

Where To Start Hyper Training?

The next step is to reach the Hyper Training location. To do this, you need to find the Hyper Trainer NPC, which can be found on the north side of Montenevera’s Pokemon Center. How to identify this NCP? Look for the “Hyper Training” text box in yellow color above their head – that means it’s the person you’re looking for. Then just speak to it! Hyper Trainer lets you improve any Pokemon’s level by 50 or more. You need either 1x Gold or 6x Silver Bottle Caps for a quick result.
