Pokemon Mystery Dungeon DX Rayquaza Guide: How To Beat Final Boss

For anyone who’s played a Pokémon game back from the Ruby and Sapphire series, they’ll know Rayquaza, and how much of a formidable opponent it is. It is found like the old games in the Sky Tower, after crossing the numerous levels of dungeons before you can fight this guy anyway. You’ll have to be well prepared for this fight. In this Mystery Dungeon DX Rayquaza guide, we are going to go over how you can beat the final boss.

How To Defeat Rayquaza In Pokemon Mystery Dungeon DX

Rayquaza has a move set that excels in dealing massive amounts of damage to all of your Pokémon. The moves in its move set are:

  1.  Extremespeed
  2. Hyper Voice
  3. Twister
  4. Hyper beam

Twister and Hyperbeam are Rayquaza’s signature attack moves and will deal the most amount of damage. Twister can easily drain your Pokémon’s HP, eliminating them easily. This is where you will need to use Reviver Seeds.

While being immune to ground, Fire, Water, Grass and Bug-type attacks. Rayquaza is weak to Ice, Dragon and Rock. Use anything that can cause status effects to Rayquaza are also very effective and will help you out in the long run.

You’ll need to make sure you stock up on Reviver Seeds and Revive All Orbs. This is the only way you can make sure you’ll remain in the fight. If you lose the fight, you will need to start from the beginning of Sky Tower all over again.

When you do begin attacking, you should bring all your Pokémon as close as possible to Rayquaza and then focus on status effects and healing. Whenever it’s your turn, you should either heal or use an item that gives a status effect to the boss.

That is all for our Mystery Dungeon DX Rayquaza boss guide. If you are interested in learning more about the game then you can check out our guide on mega evolutions. You can also learn about how you can farm money fast in the game.
