How To Evolve Pokemon In Pokemon Mystery Dungeon DX
First of all, you need to complete the main story if you are interested in evolving your Pokemon. Other than that, the Pokemon that you are interested in evolving must be the team leader. Keep in mind that you can only evolve one Pokemon at a time.
The evolution requirements of each Pokemon are different but these come down to a specific level or item. Pokemon will evolve at certain levels or if you use certain items.
The following are some Pokemon that have special evolution requirements.
Needed for Pokemon that evolve through trading. Kadabra’s evolution to Alakazam is a great example.
You need this for evolving Pokemon that require max beauty. Feebas into Milotic, for example.
You will need this if a Pokemon only evolve during the day. Eevee into Espeon, for example.
You will need this if a Pokemon only evolve during the evening. Eevee into Umbreon, for example.
Different stones can be used to evolve Pokemon. Thunder Stone can be used to evolve Pikachu into Raichu and Fire Stone can be used to evolve Eevee into Flareon.
So, once you are done with the main story, head over tot he Whiscash Pond above the Pokemon Square. Note that the Pokemon you are looking to evolve must be alone. Keep the rest on standby. After some dialogue, you will be able to send the Pokemon into the Luminous Cave so that it can evolve. If the evolution requirements are not met then the cave will tell you what you are missing.
