The announcement was made on Twitter where the official Pokemon GO account announced, “Attention, Trainers! The limit on Pokémon storage has now been expanded to 6,300”. While does have a max cap, that has been increased to 6300 now.

Poke Coins is the premium currency in Pokemon GO which you can buy with real money, or you can farm by placing Pokemon in Gyms. You can earn up to 50 Poke Coins a day using this method. This is interesting because the price of the premium pass bundle has been decreased by 16% while the price of the remote raid pass has been increased by 75%.
